WWE has revealed the return date of Randy Orton.
The company’s events page on their website has Orton advertised for the December 5 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, which takes place from the Moody Center on the campus of the University of Texas in Austin.
Orton last appeared on WWE television back on the October 3 episode of SmackDown, where he took a curb stomp from Seth Rollins and a Tsunami from Bronson Reed.
Note on Matt Cardona’s status with WWE
According to a report from Fightful Select, Matt Cardona has not signed a contract with WWE, but has signed a deal allowing the company to sell Zack Ryder merchandise.
Cardona, returned to WWE on Friday’s SmackDown, under the Zack Ryder persona as the mystery opponent for LA Knight for The Last Time Is Now Tournament to determine who is facing John Cena on December 13 for the 17-time world champion’s retirement match.
