Deadline is reporting that former WWE talent Sonya Deville is set to star in the in horror-comedy Zombois, from writer-director Garrett Abdo.
Deville will be alongside Tuc Watkins (The Mummy), Thomas Dekker (Heroes) and Brenna D’Amico (Descendants), Adam Huss (Power) and Aaron Goldenberg.
The report notes also that production is set to begin in Atlanta, Georgia later this month.
Deadline adds the film centers on a group of college seniors on break in the North Georgia Mountains who discover a guarded secret and a contagion that turns their getaway into a brutal battle for survival.
Watkins gave following description to Deadline about the film: “Sexy, scary, and laugh-out-loud funny, Zomboisis going to be one hell of a ride. I can’t wait to be a part of it.”
Deville (Berenato) is repped by Luber Roklin Entertainment and AGMB. This past February, WWE informed Deville they were not renewing her contract.
