Former NXT talent Ridge Holland (real name Luke Menzies), posted to social media a note from his doctor, revealing that he (Menzies) is medically cleared to return to pro wrestling and other contact sports.
WWE terminated Holland’s contract early following comments he made on social media. His current deal was originally set to expire on November 14, 2025. The comment that him into hot water with WWE, was made in an X post, saying he felt “hung out to dry” by WWE and never thought he would not be able make his mortgage payments.
A family member started a GoFundMe for Holland. However, after it was launched and made public, he thanked everyone for their support, while also noting that he was not aware of the GoFundMe and had no prior discussion with the family member that created it. He requested that no further donations be accepted and donated funds raised to charity.
