According to an update from F4WOnline, Dominik Mysterio does not need surgery and that his timeline to be out of action is expected to be three to four weeks. He is expected to be back in time for the Royal Rumble on January 31.

WWE’s Dominik Mysterio is out of action ‘indefinitely.’
During Monday’s Raw, Liv Morgan said during a backstage interview that “Daddy Dom is out for a little bit.” Joe Tessitore then stated that Mysterio will be out of action indefinitely due to a shoulder injury.
Mysterio’s injury took place during the AAA Guerra de Titanes event back on December 20. He visibly could not use the arm during the remainder of the match.
He is the current WWE Intercontinental Champion and the AAA Mega Champion.
