“Then. Now. Forever. Together.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

The WWE Drone flies us over the Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, where the Monday Night War came to an end.

Pre-Show Arrivals

World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk arrives with AJ Lee. Cleveland is a special city for Punk. WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch sees Punk and Lee walking together and flips out. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY are shown sitting together. 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble Winner Liv Morgan is shown with Raquel Rodriguez and WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio.

Michael Cole and Corey Graves welcome us to the show. Cole talks about Bron Breakker undergoing surgery after being injured while training last week. Breakker is out indefinitely.

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch kicks off the show

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch angrily charges down to the ring and throws down her ring jacket. Lynch paces in the ring and grinds her teeth. Lynch says there is only so much disrespect that one woman can take. The crowd loudly boos her. Lynch says she came out here with a big announcement that she was going to overthrow the corruption of the Royal Rumble, but she saw someone had come back to her show. The crowd chants, “AJ Lee.”

AJ Lee’s music hits to a big reaction. AJ Lee skips out to the stage and waves coyly toward the ring. Lee skips down to the ring and around the ringside area. Lee gets in the ring and smiles at Lynch. Lynch angrily asks, “What are you doing here on MY show?” Lee looks confused and says she’s not here for Lynch. She’s here to support her girl, Maxxine Dupri. Then she planned to hang out in the catering area for a bit.

Lynch says she gets what Lee is doing by trying to be cute with her stupid eyebrows, but she’s not cute. Lee is like a little chiuhuaha yapping in her ear and ruining her life. Lee asks how she is ruining Lynch’s life. She hasn’t done anything… except beating her at WrestlePalooza… and WarGames. But other than that, there’s literally… oh, wait, she cost her the title to Maxxine Dupri at Madison Square Garden. She gets what Lynch is saying, but Lynch has the title back, so it’s like water under the bridge. Lynch begins to crash out and asks what it will take to get rid of Lee. There’s Elimination Chamber in Chicago. Does Lee want to go one-on-one with the person whom Sports Illustrated and Bleacher Report say is the greatest of all time? Does Lee want Lynch to ruin her life like she’s done to her?

Lee says Lynch is either having a nervous breakdown or she wants to go one-on-one with her. Lee smiles as Lynch sneers at her. Lee says she knew Lynch liked her, but she hasn’t had a singles match in over a decade. It would have to be really special and worth it. Lee says Lynch is one of the greatest of all time, but if she already beat Lynch, does that make her lucky or better than her? Lee says that makes her No. 1 Contender. Lynch says no to the title shot, but the crowd starts to chant, “YES!” Lynch says Lee hasn’t done anything to deserve a shot. She’s not even an active member of the Raw roster. Lee says if there’s no title, there’s no match. She’ll just go back to Chicago. Lynch angrily says, “Fine!” Lynch says if Lee thought she was held down by the man before she left, she has no idea what she’s in for. Lynch says, “Welcome to the Big Time!” Lynch storms off as Lee smiles.

Mike’s Thoughts: Decent start to the show with Becky Lynch and AJ Lee. The crowd wasn’t reacting to either lady’s shtick until Lynch really started crashing out. Still, it was a bit too over-the-top and felt really inauthentic. They’ve been building toward this match for a while (though not enough to where Lynch should be acting this psychotic), so I’m surprised it’s happening at Elimination Chamber. I figured this was a certainty for WrestleMania. They must have something bigger planned.

Backstage Segment

An angry “Big” Bronson Reed is walking with Austin Theory and Paul Heyman. Logan Paul also appears.

Arena Concourse

World Tag Team Champions The Usos are in the arena concourse and are fired up. It’s time for them to defend their titles.

The Usos make their entrance as the crowd does the “YEET” dance. They’ll face Otis and Akira Tozawa of the Alpha Academy next.

World Tag Team Championship
The Usos (“Main Event” Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) (c’s) vs. Alpha Academy (Otis and Akira Tozawa)

Referee: Rod Zapata

It’ll be Jey Uso starting against Otis. They shake hands before locking up. Otis shoves Jey down and celebrates. Jey quickly applies a waistlock before going to a side headlock. Otis gets out and hits a waistlock takeover. Otis hits the ropes and hits a shoulder tackle. Akira Tozawa tags in and hits the ropes for a dropkick to Jey’s head to pick up a two-count. Tozawa applies a rear chin lock, but Jey fights up and backs him to his corner. Jimmy Uso tags in. Jey presses Tozawa in the corner as Jimmy hits him with a flying forearm. Jimmy sends Tozawa to the corner, but Tozawa boots him back. Tozawa comes off the ropes with a flying hurricanrana. Jimmy fights back, but Tozawa kicks him down and out of the ring. Jey runs in, but Tozawa takes him down. Tozawa sets up for a dive, but Otis stops him. Otis then presses Tozawa above his head and throws him out of the ring onto The Usos.

Back from the break, Jey and Tozawa are down on the mat. Jimmy and Otis tag in. Otis runs over Jimmy with a pair of clotheslines. Otis rolls under a clothesline from Jey and avalanches him. Jimmy fights back with some superkicks and a right hand. Otis reverses a whip and hits a scary back body drop. Otis avalanches Jey in the corner. Jimmy boots Otis back, but Otis fires back with a World’s Strongest Slam for a two-count.

Otis avalanches Jimmy down. Jey tags in when Otis isn’t looking. Otis goes for a Caterpillar Elbow Drop. Jey tries to stun him with a superkick, but whiffs and hooks the head with his heel. Jey knocks Tozawa off the apron. Jimmy tags in. The Usos rock Otis with stereo superkicks, but Otis fires back with a double clothesline. Tozawa tags in and hits the Usos with a double missile dropkick. Tozawa looks focused as he rips his shirt off. Tozawa hits Jey with a suicide dive before getting back in the ring and hitting Jimmy with one. Tozawa gets back in the ring and hits Jey with another suicide dive. Tozawa gets in the ring, says he’s running it back, and hits Jimmy with another suicide dive. Tozawa gets Jimmy in the ring and goes to the top rope for an avalanche senton splash! 1… 2… Jimmy barely kicks out!

Otis tags in and lifts Jimmy. Tozawa goes to the top rope. Jimmy slides off and posts Otis before hitting Tozawa with a superkick. Jey tags in, and Otis eats a superkick before taking a double Spear from the Usos. They hit Otis with the 1D for the win.

Winners by Pinfall and still World Tag Team Champions: The Usos

Akira Tozawa is super emotional after the match ends. The Usos embrace him and Otis in a show of respect.

Byron Saxton gets in the ring and congratulates the Usos on retaining the World Tag Team Championship. Saxton says they’re on the Road to WrestleMania, so what’s next for the Usos? Jey Uso says he wants to give big respect to Tozawa and Big Daddy. They see them. Jimmy says they’re going to remain the best damn tag team in the game on the Road to WrestleMania. Jimmy needs Jey to qualify and win the Elimination Chamber. Then, he needs Jey to go back to being “Main Event” Jey Uso. Four letters, one word: uh-uh… YEET! The Usos embrace.

Mike’s Thoughts: Good tag match with The Usos going over Alpha Academy. I’m not sure exactly where this story is going with the Usos, but I don’t think it ends with Jey Uso being happy to be back in a tag team. He’ll keep failing to return to the main event scene and perhaps turn heel. Who knows? In any event, good match. That near fall with Tozawa, whom they really tried to build back up over the past few weeks, was well executed. Jimmy timed that kickout perfectly.

SmackDown will air on SyFy this Friday because of the Olympics.

Video: Last Monday on Raw, World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk and Roman Reigns had a verbal confrontation. They will battle for the title at WrestleMania.

At WrestleMania 42, CM Punk will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns.

Liv Morgan makes her way to the ring alongside WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio. We’ll hear from Morgan next.

Liv Morgan talks about winning the Royal Rumble

Replay: Last Monday on Raw, Raquel Rodriguez failed to defeat Stephanie Vaquer in a Philadelphia Street Fight to win the Women’s World Championship. After the match, Liv Morgan hit Vaquer with an Ob-Liv-ion.

Liv Morgan is in the ring with WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio. Morgan goes to speak, but Mysterio stops her. Mysterio grabs a bouquet of roses and a Valentine’s Day chocolate box. Morgan thanks him and says she’ll give him his gift later. As for now, everyone is in the presence of the greatest Royal Rumble winner of all time. Morgan says she put Stephanie Vaquer and Jade Cargill on notice. At WrestleMania, one of them will lose their title to her.

Mysterio goes to speak, but Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer interrupts and heads to the ring. Morgan stands behind Mysterio and whispers in his ear. Vaquer gives Botchamania a new sound byte and says, “Liv… you talk too much.” Vaquer starts to speak in Spanish, so Morgan asks Mysterio what she said. Mysterio says he doesn’t want to repeat what she said. Mysterio says he’ll take care of it and speaks in Spanish to Vaquer. Morgan wants a translation, and Vaquer says Mysterio called himself a “little bitch.” Morgan says she doesn’t speak Spanish, but she knows Vaquer is a liar. Since Vaquer is so excited for Mysterio, she can have one of her shirts. On second thought, Vaquer can’t wear it.

Vaquer says she hopes Morgan picks her so she can kick her ass at WrestleMania. Vaquer goes to leave, but Morgan says she’s not rushing for Vaquer or Cargill. If Vaquer doesn’t like it, she can “cry about it, puta.” Vaquer is furious and slaps Mysterio in the face. Vaquer storms off.

Mike’s Thoughts: Decent segment with Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer. That could be a really good match at WrestleMania, particularly with the Dominik Mysterio influence. Stephanie Vaquer is still in desperate need of a solid character people can get behind. It’s gotta be more than just waiting for the Devil’s Kiss.

Video: Rhea Ripley says she’s used to having someone in her corner, but tonight, she’s all alone with two women trying to secure their legacies. Ivy Nile says she’s the only one built for the Elimination Chamber. Lyra Valkyria says she walked into WrestleMania with one title and left with two. Nile says she’ll be the champion she was always destined to be. Valkyria says she’ll put her name back on the map. Ripley says there’s only one woman who can survive the Elimination Chamber and the brutality it holds. That woman is her.

Lyra Valkyria makes her way to the ring.

They go back and forth before Ripley grabs a waistlock. Nile comes up from behind and gives Ripley and Valkyria a double German Suplex!
