PWInsider has reported that independent promotion Game Changer Wrestling has reached a legal agreement with former announcer Kevin Gill.
The legal counsel for Gill filed the following status report on the case:
Dear Judge Donio,
Counsel for both parties are pleased to inform the Court that the parties have a executed a final, binding settlement agreement, resolving all claims in this matter. The parties respectfully request that if no further letter or request is filed on or before July 13, 2026, this matter be dismissed with prejudice.
Thank you for your time on this matter.
Gill filed the lawsuit against GCW in November 2024, alleging that he is owed money related to a Patreon page for the promotion.
According to the case, Gill and promoter Brett Lauderdale agreed to launch the Patreon page during the pandemic, with Gill receiving 20 percent of the revenue.
Gill claims he was underpaid in the early months of the page, launched in May 2020, and stopped receiving payments outright that September.
The case is technically still open as of this writing.
