WCW Nitro kicks off with the legendary Nitro video.

We cut to the arena as pyro goes off and we cut to the announce team. They talk about Ric Flair winning the World Heavyweight Championship at SuperBrawl.

Macho Man Randy Savage vs. Hugh Morris

Savage has tape all around his left arm. The bell rings and we are under way. Morris with a chop to the chest followed by a clothesline. Morris with right hands but Savage with right hands. Morris takes Savage down and he lands a right hand. Morris with a rake to the eyes. He runs towards Savage but Savage with a big boot. Savage with an elbow and he goes for the cover but Morris kicks out. He grabs Morris but Morris with a rake to the eyes. He grabs Savage but Savage throws him to the outside of the ring. Savage to the outside and he slams Morris face first into the ring post. He throws Morris back into the ring. Savage goes for a suplex but Morris blocks it. Morris with a suplex. Morris grabs Savage but Savage with an elbow to the face. Savage grabs Morris but Morris with a rake to the eyes. Morris with a power slam. He climbs the top rope and goes for a moon sault but Savage moves out of the way. Savage with a body slam and he climbs the top rope. Savage with the elbow drop. He looks at the fans and climbs the top rope. Savage with another elbow drop. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Macho Man Randy Savage

Roy’s thoughts: A fun and short match but once more, it feels like Savage goes into every match as an underdog.

-Commercial Break-

Back from commercial, Gene Okerlund is on the ring ramp with the driver of WCW Motorsports, Steve Grissom. He tells Okerlund hat hey are excited to be there on Nitro. We see clips of Nascar drivers.

Back in the arena, out comes Scott Riggs for his match.

Scott Riggs vs. Loch Ness with Jimmy Hart

The bell rings and we are under way. Riggs with right hands followed by a drop kick but Loch Ness stays on his feet. Riggs climbs the second rope and lands a drop kick but Loch Ness stays on his feet. Riggs to the top rope and he goes for a cross body, Loch Ness tries to catch him but drops him. Loch Ness with a running elbow drop. Jimmy Hart points to Riggs. Loch Ness with another elbow drop. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Loch Ness

Roy’s thoughts: This was not a very good match. Loch Ness is a massive guy and it was almost like they tried to replicate The Giant. Riggs tried here but this wasn’t good.

Out comes Gene Okerlund with Miss Elizabeth and Woman. They come pushing down a gurney with someone under the covers. Miss Elizabeth tells Okerlund hat Randy Savage promised that someone at SuperBrawl would leave on a gurney and Flair is a man of his word. Out comes Flair with the WCW World Heavyweight Championship from under the covers. Flair said he was taking a cat nap and it’s not easy being Ric Flair, being the Nature Boy. He says they now have Woman on his right and Miss Elizabeth on his left. And he is now the reigning World Heavyweight Champion for the 13th time. Flair says anytime he has an opportunity to walk the aisle, to style and profile, to be the Nature Boy, to fly in leer jets, to ride in long limousines and to talk to the girls about space mountain all night long, you have to love it. He tells Savage and Hogan, sometimes only a woman can say things as eloquently as they need to be heard.

Miss Elizabeth says she has something to say. She says for seven years, she had to walk behind Randy, sit in the corner and never open her mouth. When she left, she took half of everything. Half the money, property but that was nothing. Last night, she took it all. She says she knows that belt was the most important thing to Randy. He says he likes to live on the edge, Miss Elizabeth says that he is over the edge looking up at the Nature Boy. Flair Woo’s and they head to the back.

Roy’s thoughts: Flair was amazing here. Not many things in wrestling get you fired up more than a Ric Flair promo.

United States Champion Konan vs. Dangerous Devon Storm

The bell rings and we are under way. Storm with a drop kick and he throws Konan to the outside of the ring. Storm with a baseball slide. He goes under the ring and grabs a chair. He places the chair in the ring, runs to the ropes, jumps onto the chair and onto Konan on the outside of the ring. Storm gets on the ring apron and lands a drop kick. He grabs the chair and places it on the outside of the ring. He sits Konan on the chair. Storm places the steel steps in front of Konan. He runs up the steps but Konan catches him and slams him on the outside. Both men back in the ring and Konan with a clothesline. Konan with a head scissor take down. Konan picks Storm up and slams him onto the mat. He goes for the cover but Storm kicks out. Konan with a modified leg lock but Konan lets go of it. Both men to their feet and Storm with a modified leg lock. Konan reverses it but Storm gets to the ropes. Konan with chops to the chest. He runs towards Storm but Storm with an elbow to the face. Storm with a springboard elbow. Konan on the ring apron but Storm with a kick. Storm with a sunset flip over the top rope but Konan reverses it and slams Storm on the outside of the ring. Konan and Storm get back in the ring. Konan on the top rope but Storm with kicks. Storm goes for a hurricanrana but Konan powerbombs him. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Konan

Roy’s thoughts: Konan was good and Devon Storm had some moves he did here but this was forgettable.

Arn Anderson with Woman vs. Hulk Hogan

The bell rings and we are under way. Arn with a hammer lock followed by a forearm. He tries to slam Hogan face first into the turnbuckle but Hogan blocks it. Hogan with a kick and right hands. Hogan bites Arn in the corner and hits him with right hands. He grabs Arn but Arn with a clothesline. Hogan stays on his feet and Hogan with a clothesline. Hogan with a clothes line. Hogan throws Arn to the outside of the ring. Hogan chases Arn around the ring. Arn with a kick and he goes for a pile driver but Hogan takes Arn down. Hogan with a sling shot and Arn hits the ring post. Hogan slams Arn’s left arm around the ring post. Hogan throws Arn back into the ring. Hogan with right hands. Hogan with an atomic drop followed by a back suplex. Hogan with a standing elbow drop. Hogan throws Arn to the ropes and Hogan with a clothesline. Hogan throws Arn in the corner. Hogan runs towards Arn but Arn with an elbow to the face. Arn climbs the top rope but Hogan gets to his feet. Hogan with a right hand and he trips Arn up. Arn falls groin first onto the top rope and down to the mat. Hogan grabs Arn but Arn with right hands. Arn raking Hogan’s left eye and out comes Ric Flair with Miss Elizabeth. Arn with a spine buster. He goes for the cover but Hogan kicks out. Hogan begins to Julk up. Hogan with right hands. He throws Arn to the ropes and Hogan with a big boot. Hogan struts like Ric Flair and Flair takes his jacked off on the outside. Hogan with the Figure Four on Arn. Flair gets in the ring while Arn distracts the referee. Hogan rolls Flair up into a pin but the referee breaks it up. Woman is on the outside of the ring and she gets on the ring apron. Hogan looks at Woman and she throws powder in his eyes. Flair gives Arn Anderson Miss Elizabeth’s boot. Woman distracts the referee. Arn hits Hogan with the big boot. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Arn Anderson

Arn and Flair celebrate in the ring but Hogan gets to his feet. He slams their heads together. Hogan with a big boot onto Arn and a big boot onto Flair. Out comes Savage and they start beating up on Flair and Arn. Savage grabs a steel chair and he hits Flair with it. Flair rolls to the outside of the ring. Flair and Arn Anderson walk to the announce team. Flair tells Hogan that he just got his ass kicked again, He tells Savage that they ahve the belts, thjey have the girls, they have the wrestling world where they want it. Arn says the sky is not falling, it is not the end of time. Yes, Arn Anderson just beat the great, unbeatable, Hulk Hogan. As he is talking, Hogan runs towards them and they run away. Hogan grabs a head set. He tells Flair and Arn to come out. Gene Okerlund is with them and Savage tells them to stop. Hogan says that after Savage beats Flair and gets his title back, he accepts Arn’s match. Hogan says Miss Elizabeth made the wrong choice with Flair. He tells Savage to get everything back. Savage says next week on Nitro, they take them all to school as Nitro goes off the air.

Roy’s thoughts: A pretty good main event. Ric Flair was always going to get involved here and his promo after the match was typical Ric Flair, just gold. A fun show with most of the talking being from Flair which is always a good thing.
