Former Tag Team Champions debut at AEW’s House Rules in Brisbane, announce they are ‘All Elite’

Former TNA World Knockouts Women’s Tag Team Champions, The IInspiration, (Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay) made their official AEW debut during the company’s House Rules non-tv event, which took place at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Sunday.

After their debut match, with a win over Frankie B and Aysha, Lee and McKay introduced themselves and then announced they are “officially All Elite.” They also invited other tag teams down to the ring, so they could be taught a lesson in tag team wrestling.

The duo dropped the TNA World Knockouts Tag Team Titles to the Elegance Brand’s H & M during the premiere episode of IMPACT on AMC last month. Speculation then began earlier this month, that Lee and McKay could possibly be signing with AEW.

Lee and McKay were also known as The IIconics (Lee as Peyton Royce and McKay as Billie Kay), in WWE and were one-time Women’s Tag Team Champions. They were released from their contracts with the company back on April 15, 2021 after a six-year run. Lee is married to NXT star Shawn Spears. The couple have two children together.
