WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley posted to his Instagram, saying that he’s ‘genuinely happy’ after his AEW debut during the Double or Nothing Buy In on Sunday.
“ALL ELITE I am so genuinely happy to be part of @AEW, and to have contributed in a small way to such an amazing night of wrestling.”
Foley co-hosted the Buy In with Renee Paquette. When speaking about the World Title vs. Hair Match, between MJF and Darby Allin, MJF interrupted Foley. After a verbal exchange, MJF hit a low blow on Foley that led Allin to quickly run down to make the save.
During the Double or Nothing Post-Show Media Scrum, Tony Khan said that he thinks Foley and Paquette would make a great pair moving forward, and he plans on keeping it that way for the foreseeable future.
Foley is expected to appear on this Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite, which takes place from the Liacouras Center on the campus of Temple University in North Philadelphia.

Foley previously stated that he no longer wished to represent WWE and was not going to renew his Legends contract as long as WWE continues to their relationship with President Donald Trump.
