The US edition of The Sun has acquired and posted dashcam and bodycam footage from the Connecticut State Police, when Vince McMahon crashed his 2024 Bentley Continental on July 24, 2025. The crash happened on the same day as the death of Hulk Hogan.
McMahon was in the right lane of the parkway, also known as Route 15, north near Exit 41 in Westport when he rear-ended a BMW and then hit the median. The accident happened at 9:22 am local time.
When the Connecticut State Trooper approached McMahon in his damaged car with the airbags deployed, asked why he was driving over 100 mph, McMahon told the trooper he was on his way to visit his granddaughter for her birthday.
McMahon also told the Trooper he was not trying to outrun him and that he was just “trying to drive and he had not been driving his car in “God knows how long”. McMahon then called him self a “stupid f—king fool”, as he gave his registration and insurance information to the Trooper. McMahon then told the Trooper again he had not driven the car in quite sometime, further saying his car is “too f—king fast.”
After being asked repeatedly by the Trooper, if he needed an ambulance or medical attention, McMahon said, “No.”
McMahon was issued a misdemeanor for reckless driving.
Last October, McMahon appeared in state Superior Court in Stamford, Connecticut before Judge Gary White along with his attorney, Mark Sherman two months after submitting his application for the accelerated rehabilitation program. The judge ruled that McMahon must attend the program for one year on the condition he makes a $1,000 charitable contribution and only drive if properly licensed and insured. Charges of reckless driving and following too closely will be dismissed on October 15, 2026, but that is only if McMahon has no further incidents.
