WWE files several trademarks related to Danhausen

On March 13, 2026, WWE filed eight different trademarks with United States Patent and Trademark Office for Danhausen, which all end with the term/word “Hausen.”

WWE submitted two trademark applications for each of the following terms:

“Girlhausen”

“Ghoulhausen”

“Kidhausen”

“Kid-Hausen”

Lauren A. Dienes-Middlen is listed as WWE’s attorney on the application for the trademark filings.

For the wrestling related trademarks:

“IC 041: Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.”

Merchandise trademarks:

“IC 025: Clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, clothing ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; footwear, namely, shoes, sneakers, slippers, flip flops, boots; headwear, namely, hats, caps; wrist bands; bandanas; championship trophy belts.”

On Friday evening, Fightful Select reported the reaction to Danhausen backstage at WWE events has been positive. The publication wrote, “Those who Fightful Select spoke to in WWE were happy with the quick turnaround of Danhausen. “Most in the company knew that the debut was a flop, but said that the situation didn’t rattle him, and he responded well.”

Danhausen made his WWE debut at Elimination Chamber PLE, held at the United Center in Chicago, back on February 28. He was revealed as the mystery person in the crate which was sent back and forth between Raw and SmackDown. The fans at the United appeared not to know exactly who Danhausen was and the reaction he received was boos instead of cheers.
