According to Bodyslam, Marie Malenko, daughter of former WCW and WWE star Dean Malenko has signed with WWE and s expected to report to the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida shortly. Malenko is also the granddaughter of Boris Malenko.
It had previously been reported WWE gave Malenko a tryout last month at the Performance Center.
Malenko made her in-ring debut on the February 2 Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Monday Magic show, where she teamed up with Sofia Sivan in a three-way tag match which was won by Great Sakuya and Alivia Rose. She then made her return to the February 9 show, teaming with Miyuki Takase and Sivan to win that tag match.
In addition, Malenko also wrestled back on February 7 and 8 for Rossy Ogawa’s Marigold promotion. On the February 7 show, she and Seri Yamaoka had a match that ended in a time-limit draw. Malenko defeated Rea Seto on the February 8 show.
