We head to ringside before going to a video package looking back at Randy Orton explaining his actions last week. He recalls what Cody Rhodes said to him prior to that, allowing him to do what he needs to do to beat Cody at WrestleMania for the Undisputed WWE Championship. We also look at his issues with Matt Cardona that same night, leading to an RKO on the man he called an “indy nerd” among other things.
“I hear voices in my head, they council me, they understand…they talk to me!”
We head back to ringside where Randy Orton makes his way out, a majority of these fans singing along to his theme song despite (or because of) his recent actions as the Viper enters the ring to take a microphone.
Two weeks ago, he stood in this ring next to Cody Rhodes and Cody said he needed Randy to be the best version of himself. He also said the fans wanted Orton to be the best version he could be. Cody also said he wanted the Viper, and for Randy to hear the voices in his head. The thing is, he shut those voices out years ago. He’s been thinking about his legacy, his pursuit of his fifteenth world championship, and out of nowhere Cody gave him his blessing. Now that he’s listening to those voices again, he needs everyone to know that he can’t be held responsible for what happens next.
Randy claims the problem isn’t with the voices in his head, it’s everyone else’s voice bothering him. There is one person outside his head that’s speaking to him…but before he can finish, Matt Cardona comes down the ramp. Orton shouts at him saying he’s lucky he still has a job with this place, as Cardona slides into the ring…and wallops the Viper in the head with the mic! Orton leaves the ring to recover as Matt calls him out.
Backstage, we see Nick Aldis talk to Trick Williams about getting a match at WrestleMania. Williams is excited for the news just as Sami Zayn steps into frame, looking for some news of his own. Nick breaks the news to him that as much of an asset as he is, unless something happens he doesn’t have a spot for him at WrestleMania. Trick feigns feeling bad for Zayn before asking Aldis about the perks of being at the big event.
Zayn starts to walk away before blindsiding Williams with a forearm, telling Nick he’ll have a match at WrestleMania, just you wait. He walks off as SmackDown rolls on.
Back at ringside, The Bellas make their entrance as they get ready to face Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss up next!
-Commercial Break-
We get some hype for WWE World ahead of WrestleMania 42 before heading backstage, where Orton goes to Aldis demanding a match with Matt Cardona, threatening to do more harm to him tonight if he doesn’t get his wish. Aldis relents to making the match, before telling Orton to cool off somewhere as we head back to ringside.
Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss make their entrance to a nice pop from the crowd, entering the ring to get this match underway–or maybe not, because here come the Irrestible Forces onto the stage. Nia Jax has a mic, telling fans to buy tickets for Raw to see the champs defend their titles. Tonight you’re going to watch a bunch of wannabe contenders try their best, but they’re willing to put a spotlight on the division. Lash joins in to run down the Bellas and Charlotte and Alexa before calling for the bell to ring!
Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss vs. The Bella Twins (Nikki and Brie)
We start things off with Charlotte and Nikki, with Flair taking the twin down with a shoulder tackle off the ropes. Nikki sends her to the corner but is met with a headscissors forcing her to the outside. She knocks Brie off the apron as Nikki returns, landing a backbreaker to take control for a tag when Brie returns. Brie with a few shots of her own, only for Charlotte to send her to the corner for a chop and a tag to Bliss.
Double team by the former champs sends Brie to the mat, but Brie turns things around for a nearfall. Blind tag from Nikki as Bliss goes for a cover to no avail, and she gets caught in the ring apron for a Bella double-team. Charlotte comes around the ring, joining Alexa to argue with the twins as we go to picture-in-picture.
Picture-in-Picture: Nikki regains control as she goes to work on Bliss, bringing her back into the ring to work the arm. Alexa fights back but is sent to the corner where Brie tags in. Double team from the twins gets a nearfall for Brie, who goes back to work on Alexa’s arm as we see Nia arguing with the commentary team over something. Back in the ring, Nikki makes the tag to continue the attack on Bliss, who fights back to her feet before being brought to the mat by Nikki. She mocks Charlotte before tagging Brie back in, and the twins take Bliss to the mat with a flapjack of sorts for a nearfall. Brie sends Alexa to the corner for some kicks as we return from break.
Brie with a snapmare before tagging Nikki back in, and Nikki keeps Bliss away from making a tag to Charlotte. She also mocks Flair before sending Alexa to the corner. Tag to Brie and a double-team as Flair is held back by the ref. Alexa counters a double suplex for a DDT sending the twins into the mat, before making the tag to Flair…who lands a cross body on the Bellas to keep them down! Chops on both women to “woo” chants from the crowd, and a walkover clothesline sends Nikki down hard.
Suplex to Brie, and an exploder on Nikki for good measure as she kips up before mocking the champs at ringside. Tag to Bliss, who takes Nikki down for a nearfall before Brie breaks it up. Modified Hart Attack from the twins gets a two count, and Brie calls for BRIE MODE (wopwopwopwopwop)–only for Bliss to catch her with a rollup for a nearfall, countered into a two count by Brie. Bliss goes to the ropes, and the ref misses Lash blindsiding Alexa before Brie rolls her up for the win!
Winners via pinfall: The Bella Twins (Nikki and Brie)
No time for celebrations as the Bellas leave the ring, allowing the champs to go after all four of the women…until Bayley and Lyra Valkyria come running down for the save! The champs are sent to the outside, with Charlotte still having issues with the twins coming off the loss as they leave the ring as well.
We look back to the WWE Tag Team Championship match last week, with the MFT’s war with Wyatt Sicks costing them the titles against R-Truth and Damian Priest. Backstage, R-Truth talks to Damian Priest about building a clubhouse as “Judgment Day is back.” Jelly Roll (whom Truth mixes up with Dominik Mysterio?) and Rhea Ripley join in to congratulate the new champs, before Roll wishes Ripley all the best on her title match at WrestleMania before he leaves to get ready for his match against Kit Wilson.
Truth follows “Dom” to talk to him some more as Ripley and Priest share a moment over their new paths. Priest encourages Ripley to “handle that Jade Cargill business” as we go to commercial.

We take a look back at the NXT Origins of TIffany Stratton. NXT Stand & Deliver heads to St. Louis on April 4!
Backstage, the Bellas argue with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss over what happened during their match. Bellas state they will do whatever it takes to win the tag titles, and Charlotte and Alexa eventually just walk away.
We head back to ringside as Rhea Ripley makes her way out to a big pop. We take a look back at Rhea’s issues with Jade Cargill in recent weeks, along with B-Fab and Michin turning their backs on Ripley to side with the WWE Women’s Champion, as Ripley enters the ring and gets a mic.
Rhea talks about B-Fab and Michin being so desperate to get their hands on her before calling them out for a fight. The lights go out, and…
“A storm is coming…”
Out comes Jade Cargill alongside B-Fab and Michin, and the champ has a mic of her own. She says Rhea sounds real slick for someone who got dropped last week. They mock the crowd for booing before Jade says these two took a position of power, fumbling ever so slightly to talk about them stabbing Rhea in the back. The booing only gets louder as Michin talks about them grinding just as hard as Ripley and getting no respect.
Jade reveals that they talked to Nick Aldis, and B-Fab is ready to step up against Ripley here tonight. After a bit more arguing, Ripley calls out for a ref to get in the ring so they can get this match going, and I don’t know if I’ve ever been more glad to get a commercial break as I am right at this moment.
-Commercial Break-
We come back to the match in progress!
Rhea Ripley vs. B-Fab
Ripley lays into B-Fab with relative ease until Cargill distracts the ref. Rhea leaves the ring to confront the champ, but B-Fab smacks her around until Jade attacks Ripley. This forces the ref to call for the bell!
Winner via disqualification: Rhea Ripley
Jade and her friends attack Rhea before the champ lands Jaded on her WrestleMania opponent.
Backstage, The Miz and Kit Wilson have a talk about Miz’s issues that may or may not stem from being cursed. Miz walks off and we see Danhausen, who wants to know what “Kip” has that Danhausen does not. Kit starts to tell him he’s toxic, but is cut off by Danhausen…who lets Wilson know that he is cursed! He disappears before Kit can get another word in.

We take a look at the fighting between Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu last week, primarily focused on the apir falling off a metal structure out in the parking lot. We’re left to wonder what happened to them as we head backstage, where McIntyre is slowly making his way in.
He’s asked about this, and chalks it up to stubbornness before addressing what Jacob did to him. He didn’t come here tonight to fight, but if Jacob wants to start something, Drew will finish it. He talks about Jacob taking away everything from him…and when a man’s got nothing to lose, that’s when he’s at his most dangerous.
We head back to ringside as Jelly Roll makes his entrance for our next match. We take a look back at the slam poetry session between Roll and Kit Wilson, which has led to this match tonight. Jelly is in the ring as he seeks spiritual guidance from above before Kit Wilson makes his entrance. He gets to the ring, taking a mic to say he’s defending the honor of his mother tonight. He reads off a poem about Jelly Roll, ending on his catchphrase just as Jelly says let’s get this on…and sure enough, this match gets underway!
Jelly Roll vs. Kit Wilson
Kit blindsides Jelly in the corner before sending the musician to the ropes, but Roll fights back for a leg drop to the groin followed by an atomic drop. Bionic elbow is blocked by Wilson, who skins the cat on his way back in the ring…only to take a clothesline that sends him to the outside!
Kit grabs his poetry book before going back into the ring, but Jelly takes it and looks to use it only for the ref to pull it way. This allows Kit to take control, sending Roll to the mat before hitting him in the head. He mocks the musician with his pose before knocking him fully down. He pokes fun at Jelly some more before bringing him to the corner…but Roll dodges Wilson before landing a belly to belly suplex! Ref begins the count as Kit gets to his feet. Jelly does as well, before they trade strikes back and forth.
