Three title matches set for Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Spring Breakthru

AEW CEO, President and General Manager Tony Khan announced two big title matches during the Dynasty Media Scrum.

Darby Allin will challenge MJF for the AEW World Championship at Wednesday’s Dynamite Springthru. Khan and Renee Paquette noted that neither of them had the chance to tell MJF is person, as he left Rogers Place after he successfully defended the title against Kenny Omega. Newly crowned TNT Champion Kevin Knight will defend the belt against Claudio Castagnoli.

Also scheduled for this Wednesday’s Dynamite is Willow Nightingale defending the AEW TBS Championship against Kamille, who made her return during the Dynasty Zero Hour, attacking Nightingale, specifically going after her left shoulder. After Kamille made quick work of Big Anne, Nightingale came out to confront Kamille, who went after her shoulder again and then left her laying in the ring.

Kamille last appeared on AEW programming back on the November 29, 2024 episode of Rampage, after she was taken out backstage by a mystery attacker, following a split from Mercedes Mone.’ Kamille is featured in the American Gladiators reboot under the name of Hurricane. The 10-episode first season will premiere Friday, April 17 hosted by WWE’s The Miz.

AEW Dynamite Spring Breakthru will emanate from the Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett, Washington, roughly 30 minutes from Seattle which is Allin’s hometown.
