Brock Rechsteiner, son of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner, has been signed to the NFL’s New Orleans Saints 90-man roster following a successful tryout at the team’s rookie mini camp, per his agency US Sports Management and the Saints social media accounts.
Rechsteiner was an undrafted rookie free agent out of Jacksonville State, where he caught 52 passes for 630 yards and seven touchdowns during the four seasons he played.
Rechsteiner, who signed an NIL deal with WWE back in 2025, said he still plans one day to follow in the footsteps of his father and cousin Bron Breakker and pursue pro wrestling, but for now, he wants to see how far he can go in the NFL. “I want to play football as long as I can.”, in an interview with ESPN.
Breakker spent time with the Baltimore Ravens during training camp in 2020, before signing with WWE and is currently part of The Vision faction that includes World Tag Team Champs Logan Paul, Austin Theory, Bronson Reed (who is out injured) and their manager WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman.
In additional to the Saints, Brock Rechsteiner also spent time at rookie mini camp for the Tennessee Titans earlier this year but was not signed to a deal.
