Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics is reporting, it has been confirmed to him that the WWE shareholder trial has been canceled.
At time of Thurston’s report, there were additional details as to why the trial was canceled and removed from the courts calendar. Furthermore, Thurston noted that he has not been able to confirm if the two sides reached a settlement agreement or if there is one currently in the works. The trial had been initially scheduled to start on June 8 and last four-days.
According a report from Bloomberg this past Friday, per attorney Greg Varallo of Bernstein Litowitz Berger & Grossmann LLP, who represents the WWE shareholders, said the four-day trial which was scheduled to start this Monday, is no longer listed on the Delaware Chancery Court’s calendar.
