Fighful Select has published a report on the reason for WWE pushing the Money in the Bank PLE back, from September 6 to October 10 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, LA.
WWE made the official announcement on Monday, noting the date change.
The report also notes that according to sources, the date change was due to scheduling considerations involving broadcast partners and logistical factors. One source familiar with the situation indicated that holding the premium live event that early September would have presented increased travel challenges and higher expenses associated with the Labor Day weekend with additional activities and events taking place in the area at the same time.
Fightful Select concluded by noting, moving the event to October gives WWE additional flexibility with scheduling, while potentially making travel arrangements easier and more affordable for fans who plan to attend the event.
