The intro is up next as Saturday night’s alright for fighting!
We go inside the arena as the pyro goes off with Tony Schiavone, Nigel McGuinness and Kevin Kelly welcome us to the show! The commentary team runs down the blue league matches for tonight’s Continental Classic.
Dasha makes the first introduction with Eddie Kingston making his way out to the ring as we get ready for out first Continental Classic Blue League of the match for the night. Claudio Castagnoli’s music hits next as he makes his way out to nice ovation from the Montreal fans.
AEW Continental Classic Blue League Match: Claudio Castagnoli vs. Eddie Kingston
The bell rings and Eddie hits Claudio in the face and takes him down. Claudio goes to the outside as he dives through the ropes onto Claudio…the action goes back in the ring as Eddie covers Claudio for only a two count as we have a split cheer for Eddie and Claudio. Claudio picks up Eddie and pancaked down on the mat and then covers Eddie for just a two count. Claudio nails Eddie with a forearm to the face. Eddie fights back, but is dropped by Claudio onto the apron and then hits the floor. Claudio hits the floor and then rolls Eddie back in and then hits Eddie with a big double stomp on the chest. Claudio then kicks Eddie, who gets up and chops Claudio. Claudio then counters and picks up Eddie and swings him around and then applies the sharpshooter! Eddie chants start as he won’t give up, as Claudio tells him to tap! Eddie makes it to the bottom rope to break the hold. Claudio then puts a boots to the face of Eddie, taunting him to boos as Claudio lays in huge forearms on Eddie’s face…Claudio then hits Eddie in the face with a huge running drop kick…Claudio covers Eddie who kicks out at two! Claudio picks up Eddie, who tries to fight back with chop, but Claudio nails Eddie with big forearms. Claudio then drops Eddie to the mat with huge lariat! Claudio covers Eddie, but he kicks out at two! Claudio puts a knee to the throat of Eddie and then kicks him in the shoulder and stomps on his hand. Eddie is back up trying to fight back, but Claudio fires back with forearms to the face and then drops Eddie and puts knees to the face of Eddie. Eddie put up on the top turnbuckle as Claudio hits him with a forearm. Claudio tries to pick up Eddie, but Eddie knocks Claudio off, but Claudio is back up and digs his fingernails in the back of Eddie. Claudio then drops Eddie with a huge superplex and covers Eddie for a two count!
Picture-In-Picture: Eddie is down as Claudio nails him with forearms to the back of the head. Claudio makes a pin attempt, but Eddie kicks out again at two! Claudio works on the right arm of Eddie, pulling on it and then stomps on it. Eddie is up trying to fight back, but Claudio counter and puts Eddie a sleeper like hold. Eddie drops to the mat as Claudio holds on. Eddie is back up trying to fight back…Claudio breaks the hold…
Back from PIP: Eddie is fired up and slaps Claudio in the chest, but Claudio drops him with a lariat and cover Eddie, but he won’t quit and kicks out at two! Claudio delivers a waste lock suplex on Eddie and covers him, but Eddie kicks out yet again! Eddie comes back with a chop on Claudio, but Claudio hits him back with a forearm…Eddie then gets Claudio staggered and nails him with chops and drops him with an exploder and then covers Claudio for a two count! Claudio is up to his feet. Eddie comes back with machine gun like chops on Claudio…Eddie then hits Claudio in the jaw and nails him with chops…Eddie drops Claudio with a huge lariat and covers Claudio…1, 2 – NO! Claudio kicks out! Both men are down as the ref checks on both…fans begin chanting for Eddie and Claudio. Eddie attempts to pick up Claudio, but can’t…Claudio then picks up Eddie and drops him and covers him, but Eddie kicks out at two…Claudio puts Eddie and STF as Eddie finally makes it to the bottom rope to break the hold. Claudio then drags Eddie to the center of the ring and hits Eddie in the head with elbows strikes…Eddie then picks up Claudio and drops him with a big powerbomb…Eddie covers Claudio, but the BCC member won’t give up either and kicks out at two! Both men are on their knees as they exchange blows…both men get up and continue to exchange rapid chops back and forth! Eddie then nails Claudio with a backhand as Claudio goes down! Eddie covers Claudio – 1 – 2 – NO! CLAUDIO KICKS OUT! Dasha announces 3 minutes remain in the 20 minute limit…Eddie then nails Claudio again with a backhand as both men make pin attempts…Eddie rolls Claudio again and is able to get the pin!

We go to a vignette with Jon Moxley talking about his match against RUSH and then his next matchup in Swerve Strickland. Mox says Swerve has a lot of buzz…Mox tells Swerve it is going to be a long night and suggests to Swerve that he pack a lunch…
-COMMERCIAL BREAK-
Back from the break Renee is talking backstage with HOOK as she asked him what is going on with Wheeler Yuta. He comes in and tells HOOK he is a paper champion. HOOK tells Yuta he kicks Shibata in the balls…Yuta says he tired of HOOK sticking his nose in his business and challenges HOOK to a match under FTW rules.
Willow Nightingale is out first as we get ready for our next match of the night…the fans in Montreal seem to like her. Mercedes Martinez music is out next…Diamante is out with Mercedes as they make their way to the ring.
Mercedes Martinez vs. Willow Nightingale
The bell rings and we are underway! Both women lock up as Willow pushes Mercedes to the corner as the hold is broken. Mercedes attempts hit Willow who ducks. Mercedes then nails Willow and follows up with kicks to the mid-section as Willow goes down. Mercedes attempts to pul Willow who counters and drops Mercedes with a lariat. Willow then hits Mercedes and drops her to the mat. Willow then drops on Mercedes with a senton splash…Mercedes rolls to the floor as Diamante checks on her. Willow goes to the floor and his distracted by Diamante as Mercedes pushes Willow into the apron and then tosses her into the barricade to boos! Mercedes then hits Willow in the back. Mercedes then sets up Willow on the time keepers table and drops her with a draping DDT as we go to picture in picture…
Picture-In-Picture: The action is back in the ring as Mercedes continues the offense on Willow. Mercedes delivers chops on Willow and then tosses her into the turnbuckle chest first.

Back from the full break, Mercedes suplexes Willow and then delivers another…Mercedes goes for a third, but Willow counters and face plants Mercedes and covers her for just a two count. The fans are behind Willow as she charges at Mercedes and drops her to the mat! Willow then drop kicks Mercedes who goes down in the corner…Willow hits Mercedes with a running cannonball…Willow covers Mercedes for just a two count. Diamante distracts the ref, but is dropped off the apron by Willow…Mercedes then drops Willow with a fisherman’s buster and covers Willow for a two count! Mercedes thin kicks Willow and picks her up and drops hard to the mat. Mercedes picks up Willow and drops her again! Mercedes picks up Willow and hoisters up on the second rope and plants her face first! Mercedes covers Willow who counters by rolling up Mercedes to get the three count!
WINNER BY PINFALL: WILLOW NIGHTINGALE
After the match, Mercedes and Diamante double team Willow. Diamante grabs a small ladder from under the ring and shoves it into the gut of Willow…Diamante has a small pipe as Kris Statlander’s music hits…Statlander hits the ring with a small chain and chases out the heels.
We go backstage with Renee talking to Jake Hager, Daddy Magic and Cool Hand Ang…Hager then says Danhausen put his hand down his pants and he has the authorities investigating it….Daddy Magic and Cool Hand talk about wrestling in front of Montreal…Ruby, Anna Jay and Sarya then come in as Sarya belittles Ruby as this silly backstage segment comes to an end.

Back from the break, we have vignette from Swerve says he runs the industry and he is at the top of AEW…he then talks at Jon Moxley as they will face off on Wednesday’s Dynamite…
Wardlow is out next. Willie Mack’s music hits next as he makes his way out to the ring.
Wardlow vs. Willie Mack
The fans begin a Wardlow chant. The bell rings and we are underway! Both men stare at each other. Willie tries to take Wardlow off his feet. Willie goes right to the legs, but Wardlow take down Willie with a huge drop kick and then hits him with shoulder blocks to the mid-section. Willie sends Wardlow to the floor. Willie goes to the outside and heabutts Wardlow, but it does nothing…the action goes back in the ring as Willie hits Wardlow with a standing moonsault as Willie covers him for only a one count…Willie then is picked up by Wardlow and is slammed down…Wardlow then drops Willie with a big lariat. Wardlow picks up Willie and drops him with a massive powerbomb and covers Willie to get the win.

We go to a video package recapping House of Black trying to get FTR to join the group.

Kenny Omega’s music hits first as he makes his way to the ring. Omega greets the fans at ringside before making his way into the ring. Ethan Page’s music hits next as Page makes his way down to the ring.
Ethan Page vs. Kenny Omega
The bell rings as we begin…the fans are fired up with Kenny chants…Both men lock up as Page puts Kenny in an arm lock…Kenny counters and drops Ethan down. Ethan drops Kenny as he is in the corner with Ethan nailing him with chops…Tony Nese is shown backstage watching the match on a monitor….Kenny fires back, but out of nowhere Ethan drops Kenny with a huge cutter as Kenny roles to the floor. Ethan goes to the outside and picks up Kenny and hits him a huge right hand. Kenny fires back with huge chops. Kenny then breaks the count and sends Ethan to barricade, but he comes back and drops Kenny hard to the floor! Ethan then tosses Kenny to the barricade and then kicks Ethan and hits Ethan with a big moonsault off the barricade! Ethan goes back in the ring as Kenny follows and covers Ethan for only a two count! Kenny tries to hoist up Ethan, but he counters and scoops up Kenny and drops him to the mat. Ethan then hits Kenny with a big shot to the side of head…Both men take each other out as they both go over the top rope and hit the floor…
Picture-In-Picture: Both men attempt to get up as the ref starts the ten count. Both men roll back into the ring…Kenny delivers a series right hand to Ethan who drops to the mat. Kenny waits for Ethan to get up…Ethan goes for the ropes as Kenny kicks him as Ethan falls to the outside. Kenny leaps off the apron and nails Ethan with forearms. Both men exchange blows…Kenny nails Ethan with a huge chop and then picks him up and drops him back first on the apron!
Back fro PIP: Ethan tries for a cutter from the outside in, but Kenny nails Ethan in the face with a big knee…Kenny then powerbombs Ethan and hits him with a v-trigger. Kenny covers Ethan, but he kicks out! Ethan fires back and drops Kenny with a huge DDT and covers him for only a two count! Both men are down as Ethan is back up and attempts a powerbomb on Kenny who fights out of it…Kenny then grabs the arm of Ethan and dumps him! Kenny attempts a moonsault as Ethan rolls out of the way…Kenny then drops Ethan who is in the corner. Ethan is up on the top turnbuckle Kenny makes his way up as both men are fighting on the top…Ethan then picks up Kenny and slams him hard to the mat! Ethan covers Kenny, but he kicks out! Ethan picks up Kenny who counters, but Ethan rolls up Kenny for only a two count! Ethan hits Kenny with a big boot and covers him for a two count…Kenny then hits Ethan with two v-triggers and follows up with a one winged angel and covers Ethan for the win!

After the match, Kenny helps us Ethan and raises his hand for a sign of respect. As Kenny makes his way to the back, Kenny turns around to acknowledge the fans as Big Bill takes him out with a big boot.
We go backstage with Lexy Nair talking to CJ Perry about her client Andrade El Idolo. She talks about all the tools Andrade has to beat Bryan Danielson. Miro comes in and says why doesn’t she talk about Miro like that that he is her husband. Miro tells CJ she should stay home…Miro says she won’t touch Andrade in the tournament, but its done, so is he…

Back from the break, we have a vignette with TBS Champ Julia Hart and Abadon, hyping up a future match between the two.
Penta and Komander are out first with Alex Abrahantes. Next out is Angelo Parker and Matt Menard to a big ovation for the home town tag team.
Penta El Zero M and Komander vs. “Cool Hand Ang” Angelo Parker and “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard
The bell rings and we are underway! Penta and Menard start as we get Daddy Magic chants! Menard then is met with chop by Penta and then is kicked in the face…Menard charges at Penta, but he ducks. Menard leg trips Penta as he gets up. Both men shake hands…As Penta turns his back, he taken out by Menard who tags in Komander. Komander takes out Parker. Penta is tagged in as Penta and Komander double team Parker. Menard comes in but is met with double superkicks and then a monkey flip into Parker. As Komander and Penta double dive, then are taken out by Parker and Menard…we go to picture in picture…
Picture-In-Picture: The action is back in the ring as both Parker and Menard double team Komander. Komander fights back, but is sent to the corner and drops to the mat. Komander is up, but is met with several rights to the head as Sling TV gives me a full commercial break…
Back from the full break, both Parker and Menard are double teaming Komander, who makes the tag to Penta. He takes out both Menard and Parker with thrust kicks…the action is back on the floor as Penta and Komander take out Menard and Parker with stereo superkicks….Penta and Parker are back in the ring as we get this is awesome chants…Parker nails Penta with right hands, but Penta counters and drops Parker…he covers him, but Menard breaks the count. Menard is tagged in and puts Penta in a boston crab, but Komander breaks it up. Penta and Komander take out Menard and then double team Parker to get the three count!

Bryan Danielson’s music hits first as he makes his way out with his left eye covered as we get ready for our main event of the evening. Andrade’s music hits next as he comes out with CJ Perry who will have to go to the back before the match begins.
AEW Continental Classic Blue League Match: Andrade El Idolo vs. Bryan Danielson
The bell rings as we are underway! Both men shake hands. Both men lock up as Andrade works on the left arm of Bryan. Andrade takes down Bryan who is quick to get up. Bryan tries to take down Andrade. Both men do a test of strength. Andrade flips over Bryan who holds on with a knuckle lock as Bryan flips Andrade over…the fans get behind Andrade. Andrade locks up Bryan in a headlock as the ref checks on Bryan. Bryan tosses Andrade to the ropes, but Andrade grips him and puts him in a headlock again. The is broken as Andrade takes down Bryan and drops him to the mat with the headlock again. Bryan breaks the hold, but Andrade takes down Bryan with a big shoulder block and covers him for only a two count! The ref checks on Bryan. Andrade and Bryan exchange blows, but Bryan fires back with kicks…Andrade then hits Bryan with a running forearm strike to the face as Bryan goes down! Andrade charges at Bryan who moves as Andrade hits the turnbuckle hard and drops to the floor! As the action is on the outside, we go to picture-In-Picture…
Picture-In-Picture: Bryan sends Andrade back into the ring. Andrade is up and pulls off Bryan’s eye patch and stomps on his as Bryan is busted open above his left eye. Andrade delivers a series of heabutts to Bryan as both men are on the second rope…he comes back and drops Andrade from the second rope. Andrade then kicks Bryan…
Back from PIP: Both men exchange blows with big chops! Andrade then kicks Bryan in the chest, but Bryan sends Andrade to the floor. As Bryan goes to charge Andrade on the outside, Andrade nails Bryan with a huge forearm to busted open area of Bryan. Andrade is back in the ring and applies a leg lock on Bryan as tries to rise up and make the move into a figure eight, but Bryan rolls over to his left to get his hand on the bottom rope to break the hold. Andrade goes after Bryan who is pouring blood from above his left eye. Andrade puts Bryan on the top turnbuckle as he headbutts Bryan hard as he continues pour blood…Andrade then puts the thumb to the eye. Andrade tries for a superplex, but Bryan fights back and both men go back and forth with slaps…Bryan drops Andrade off the turnbuckle and comes down and hits Andrade with a shotgun drop kick from the top! We get lets go Bryan chants as he nails Andrade with kicks to the chest! Bryan tries for the LeBell lock and then rolls up Andrade who get out of it…Andrade then comes back and kicks Bryan, as both en are down! Both men attempt to get up…As Bryan is up, Andrade makes his way to his feet as both men again exchange big blows…Andrade picks up Bryan and sends him gut first into the turnbuckle. Dasha announces five minutes remain…Andrade picks up Bryan and drops him and then covers Bryan for only a two count! Bryan is bleeding from his nose as well as his eye. Andrade climbs to the top rope, but Bryan is up and drops on the turnbuckle and drops him with a big belly to back suplex…Bryan covers Andrade, but he kicks out at two! Bryan tries for a LeBell lock, but Andrade gets his foot on the bottom rope…Andrade then comes up and nails Bryan with a spinning back elbow…Andrade covers Bryan as he kicks out at two! Both men are up exchanging lefts and rights…Bryan then delivers a running drop kicks to Andrade…he recovers and nails Bryan in the chin with running knees to the repaired eye of Bryans and then drops him to get the win!
WINNER BY PINFALL: ANDRADE EL IDOLO
After the match, medical staff come in and check on Bryan. Andrade checks on Bryan as Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli come out to check on Bryan…Claudio and Wheeler shove Andrade as he tries to tell Claudio and Wheeler he was just checking on Bryan.
The commentary team run down the standings as Yuta and Claudio and the medical staff check on Bryan as the show goes off the air.
