AEW Dynamite will air live tonight from the Peterson Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Tonight’s show will feature Jon Moxley taking on PAC. Last week on AEW Dynamite, Moxley teamed with PAC against Kenny Omega and “Hangman” Page. Moxley and PAC lost the match after Moxley flipped PAC off and dropped him with a Paradigm Shift DDT.

Dynamite wastes no time as we go straight to the ring in a cold open.

Private Party vs. The Lucha Brothers

Pentagon is rocking his old school Perros del Mal “bloody” mask again this week. Marq Quen and Fenix start the match off and go right into a ton of counters and fast-paced action. Quen connects with a gorgeous headscissors takeover and then a dropkick salto but he eats a superkick from Pentagon on the apron and then a beautiful German Suplex from Fenix.

Pentagon tags into the match as the fans get fired up for the Mexican brothers. Fenix and Pentagon light Quen up with some nasty chops and then they lift Quen up for a double backdrop but Quen counters into a MASSIVE Double Dropkick!

Isaiah Kassidy tags into the match and Private Party connect with some unique double-team offense, capping off with a pop-up hurricanrana onto Fenix. Quen hits an Atomic Drop on Fenix followed by a dropkick from Kassidy and then a leg sweep and a Mushroom Stomp.

Quen tags back in and then Kassidy helps Quen up to the top and he springboards off with a Somersault Plancha onto Fenix on the floor! Kassidy destroys Pentagon with an Enziguri in the ring and then charges at him but Pentagon backdrops him over the top. Quen catches his team and sends him back into the ring to nail Pentagon with a Tornado DDT!

Quen hits the 450-Splash on Pentagon but only gets a nearfall. Pentagon and Fenix come back with a series of kicks and then Fenix tags in and hits an unbelievable Springboard Ghetto Stomp – as he is facing backwards – to the back of Quen followed by an assisted dropkick from Pentagon to Quen in the corner!

Pentagon and Fenix lift Kassidy up to the shoulders of his own teammate and then both connect with dropkicks to them! Fenix with a double springboard Asai Moonsault onto Kassidy on the floor as the fans are losing it!

In the ring, Pentagon hits the Pentagon Driver on Quen! 1…2…NO Quen still kicks out and Pentagon loses his mind in disbelief! A huge “A-E-Dub” chant breaks out now.

The Lucha Brothers whip Quen into the corner and then Rey pulls Quen out of the corner by his leg only for Quen to catch Pentagon in a hurricanrana in midair! Fenix catches Quen with his own hurricanrana but Quen cartwheels into a tag to Kassidy!

Kassidy ocmes in with a rana on Fenix and then he slides to the floor and lays Pentagon out. Back in the ring, Kassidy hits a gorgeous Springboard Rana to Fenix and then a Tope Suicida to Pentagon on the ouside! Kassidy fakes Fenix out and then dives back onto Pentagon with an Asai Moonsault onto Pentagon on the floor!

Kassidy hits a Springboard Crucifix Bomb on Fenix in the ring for a big nearfall! Quen tags back in and Private Party try to double team Fenix but eat a Hook Kick after a 619 fake-out from Fenix.

Stunner from Kassidy and then a Roundhouse Kick from Quen and a Sliced Bread from Kassidy to Fenix! Kassidy dives over the top onto Pentagon on the floor with a Corkscrew Tornillo! Quen hits the Shooting Star Press on Fenix! 1…2…NO Fenix still kicks out!

Fenix counters a double team move from Fenix and then hits a Gory Bomb/Leg Drop combo on both members of the team! Pentagon tags back in finally and leapfrogs a charging Quen followed by a Sling Blade! Pentagon with a Powerbomb into a Backbreaker on Kassidy! Fenix goes to the top as Pentagon lifts Quen up for the Fear Factor, but Quen counters with a rana sending Pentagon into Fenix!

Quen hits a Pele Kick to Pentagon and then Quen catches Fenix with a Super Rana right into a Diamond Cutter from Kassidy! Quen and Kassidy go for the Gin & Juice again but Pentagon catches Kassidy with the Mexican Destroyer out of nowhere!

Pentagon counters a Mafia Kick from Quen catching him in the ropes, and Fenix comes out of nowhere with a Rope Walk Kick! Pentagon hits the Arm Breaker and then lifts Quen up for the Fear Factor/Ghetto Stomp! Fenix dives onto Kassidy on the floor and Pentagon pins Quen!

Winners: The Lucha Brothers via pinfall (Fear Factor/Ghetto Stomp)

Excalibur updates the status of Christopher Daniel after the attack from The Lucha Brothers last week. He says that he is expected to be out for 6-8 weeks but he is mobile and moving well. We go right back to the ring.

Before the match, a video package highlighting The Dark Order is shown.

AEW Tag Team Titles Tournament Semifinals
SCU (Frankie Kazarian & Scorpio Sky) vs. The Dark Order (Evil Uno & Stu Grayson)

Tony Schiavone points out that Kazarian and Daniels had teamed together over 200 times, while Kazarian and Sky had teamed (in tag team action) less than 20.

Kazarian and Grayson start the match off with some chain wrestling until Evil Uno comes in and takes Kazarian out and The Dark Order double team him in the corner. Uno hits a Running Hip Attack to Kazarian in the corner, but Kazarian is able to come back with a series of strikes capped off with a Lariat.

Sky tags back in the ring and Kazarian whips Uno into a dropkick from Sky for the first nearfall. Aubrey Edwards is the official. Dark Order double team Sky in the corner and Uno whips him into a big clothesline from Grayson for a nearfall.

Sky explodes out of the corner with a series of clotheslines to Grayson but eats a kick from the outside from Uno. Grayson goes for a backdrop but Sky stops and hits a Ghetto Stomp before tagging Kazarian back in. Kazarian hits the Hesitation Dropkick to Grayson in the corner and gets a nearfall.

Sky quickly tags back in and dives off the top with an Axe Handle Drop to the arm of Grayson. Grayson shoves Sky away and hits a Moonsault Kick and then tosses Sky to the floor where Uno tosses him into the guardrail and then into the ring steps.

—COMMERCIAL BREAK—

Grayson gets a nearfall as we head to commercials but they keep the picture-in-picture going during the break.

Uno slams Sky on the apron and then Grayson connects with a Slingshot Somersault Senton onto Sky on the apron before rolling him back in the ring and getting another nearfall. Grayson locks Sky in the chinlock to really slow things down.

Sky backdrops a charging Uno and then clotheslines Grayson as Dark Order were setting up for a double team move. Sky reaches for a tag but Uno lays Kazarian out. Grayson hits a Uranage Suplex on Sky and then Uno dives off the top with a Somersault Senton for a nearfall.

The Dark Order go back to working Sky over in the corner for a couple of minutes before the show returns from break.

Uno and Grayson are really working over Sky as The Inner Circle appears in the crowd. It looks like they are going to watch tonight’s show from a sky box. Uno goes for a clothesline on Sky but eats a Neckbreaker. Uno tags out but so does Grayson!

Kazarian lays out both heels with clotheslines and then a Flying Forearm Shawn Michaels style on Grayson! Kazarian follows up with a Springboard Leg Drop and then an uppercut to Uno. Kazarian hits a Swinging Neckbreaker on Grayson for a nearfall.

Uno comes in and Kazarian catches him with an O’Connor Roll and then nails Grayson with a Bridging Northern Light Suplex at the same time for a nearfall! Kazarian climbs up top but Grayson leaps up with him only to get tossed back to the canvas. Uno crotches Kazarian and then kills a charging Sky with a Knee Strike followed by a big lariat for a nearfall.

Grayson lifts Kazarian up into a Sit-Out Powerbomb from Uno for a nearfall. The Dark Order goes for another double-team move but Kazarian ssends them into each other. Sky goes the blind tag and then they nail Dark Order with big Springboard Cutters and both roll into Dragon Sleepers! Grayson fights out of the hold and sends Kazarian crashing into Sky.

Grayson goes up top and then dives off the shoulders of his teammate into a rana on Kazarian! Sky nails Uno with an Enziguri but eats a lariat from Grayson and then Grayson hits a Somersault Plancha over the ring post onto Kazarian on the floor!

Uno hits an insane counter into a Twisting STO for a nearfall. Dark Order goes for the Fatlity but Sky blocks it and tosses Grayson into a Spike DDT from Kazarian! Sky then backdrops Kazarian over the top into a Spike DDT onto Uno on the apron!

SCU hits the SCU-Later (Assisted Knee Strike) for the pin!

Winners: SCU via pinfall (SCU-Later)

“Bad Boy” Joey Janela vs. “The Cleaner” Kenny Omega

Footage of the insane match between these two a few weeks ago on AEW Dynamite is shown as Janela comes to the ring. As Omega comes out, clips of his win over Fenix over the weekend for the AAA Heavyweight Title are shown, as well.

Kenny and Janela start off with some chain wrestling to begin after their violent match a couple of weeks ago. Things break down as Omega starts killing Janela with kicks sending him to the floor, and then Omega hits a Slingshot Plancha onto Janela on the floor.

Omega whips Janela into the corner and then charges at him but Janela dodges him and connects with an Uppercut followed by a Running Uppercut. Janela lays into Omega with chops and then climbs up top only for Omega to Press Slam him. Janela rolls through it and trips Omega up followed by a Basement Dropkick.

Omega retreats to the floor but he is not safe there as Janela dives off the top with a huge Plancha onto Omega off the top rope! Back in the ring, Janela gets a nearfall and then he whips Omega into the ropes only to eat a front kick as we go to a break.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Omega has Janela up in a Fireman’s Carry as we come back from break and hits a Fireman’s Carry Slam followed by a Springboard Moonsault, but Janela gets his knees up. Janela lifts Omega up for a Fireman’s Carry of his own but Omega blocks it and hits a Snap Dragon Suplex! Omega hits another Snap Dragon Suplex!

Omega goes for another suplex but Janela counters and hits a German Suplex into the turnbuckles! Janela climbs to the top and hits a Flying Elbow Drop for a nearfall.

Janela lifts Omega up to the top rope and lays into him with an uppercut and then climbs up for a Frankensteiner, but Omega slams him into the turnbuckles and then hits a Shining Wizard for a nearfall.

Janela ducks the V-Trigger and connects with a Bicycle Kick but walks right into a Knee Strike from Omega. Omega goes for a suplex but Janela counters into a Fisherman’s Buster! Both men are down now as a “this is awesome” chant breaks out.

Janela destroys Omega by running the ropes four times before laying into him with a Lariat for a close nearfall. Omega rolls to the apron as Janela climbs up top and that damn mad man Janela goes for a Somersault Senton but Omega moves and he EATS the apron!

Omega kills Janela with the v-Trigger and then lifts him up to his shoulders and hits the One-Winged Angel for the pin!

Winner: Omega via pinfall (One-Winged Angel)

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Tony Schiavone joins Rhodes in the ring and says that he knows Cody has a major announcement tonight. As Cody tries to speak The Inner Circle start blowing air horns to cut him off.

Finally, Jericho pulls out a microphone and just starts booing Cody as they continue to blow air horns. “Unlike the other company we used to work for, this isn’t an invisible wall,” Cody continues. “And I can come right up there and we can fight and I can kick your ass right now.”

Jericho taunts Cody and tells him not to do something stupid but also says he knows Cody won’t come up there because he is a coward and an “entitled Millennial little bitch.” Cody starts to come up to the press box until he realizes that The Inner Circle has the numbers advantage and he stops.

Dustin Rhodes comes down to the ring but Jericho points out that they still have the 4-2 advantage (Jake Hager isn’t with them), which brings out MJF. “So now I’m supposed to be scared of someone wearing a scarf,” Jericho ironically asks. He points out that they still have the numbers advantage and DDP’s music hits to a MASSIVE ovation!

Cody, DDP, MJF and Dustin make their way up to the sky box but The Inner Circle retreat inside the luxury box and lock the door. Cody breaks the glass and the brawl is on!

The brawl spills out into the concession area and security finally comes out to separate everyone.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

The Young Bucks vs. The Best Friends w/Orange Cassidy

Both of these teams were eliminated from the tag team tournament in the opening round, so a win here will be big for both teams as they try to get a notch in the win column.

Orange Cassidy interrupts The Bucks during their entrance causing Matt to get irritated and shove him. OC does his lazy kicks to the leg and then eats a Super Kick Party from the Bucks!

Best Friends attack the Bucks and Chucky Power Slams Nick into a Diamond Cutter from Trent. Trent goes for a Brainbuster but eats a knee and Leaping Forearm from Nick. Nick hits a Slingshot X-Factor and then rolls back into a Moonsault off the apron onto Chuck on the floor.

The Bucks hit a Double Backbreaker and then a Rolling Neckbreaker/Backbreaker combo on Trent. Chuck tries to intervene but The Bucks hit a double dropkick to him and then mock The Best Friends with a hug of their own.

The Bucks go for a Double Baseball Slide to the Best Friends on the floor but they sidestep it and toss the Bucks into the guardrail. Chuck whips Matt into a Spear from Trent on the floor! Chuck lifts Nick onto his shoulders and then Trent dives off the apron with a Doomsday Knee to Nick!

In the ring,, Trent works Matt over in the Best Friends’ corner and then whips him into the ropes only for Nick to fly over the top and into a DDT on Chuck on the floor! Trent then hits a Flying Dropkick through the ropes onto Matt on the floor as Cassidy distracted him.

Back in the ring, Trent hits a Knee Drop for a nearfall before he clotheslines Matt to the floor.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Back from break, Nick goes for a 450-Splash but Trent moves and hits a German Suplex. Matt is able to blind tag in but he eats a German Suplex, too. Roundhouse Kick from Nick onto Trent but Trent comes right back with a German Suplex again and both men are down.

Chuck Taylor tags in and hits Belly-to-Belly Suplexes on both Bucks and then a Sliced Bread on Nick followed by a Sit-Out Powerbomb on Matt for a nearfall. Chuck goes for a Brainbuster but Nick cuts him off only to get tossed right into his brother in the corner. Chuck hits the Falcon Arrow on Matt for a nearfall.

Chuck climbs up top but Matt cuts him off and climbs up with him. Matt goes for a Superplex but Trent climbs up with him and hits a German Superplex! Soul Food/Half-and-Half Combo on Matt and then they hug! Orange Cassidy climbs up top and dives off the top with a Plancha onto the Bucks as Chuck hugged the referee to distract him.

Best Friends hit Strong Zero on Matt but Nick breaks up the nearfall with a Swanton Bomb! Nick charges at Chuck but he sends Nick crashing to the floor. Chuck tags himself in and lifts Matt up to his shoulders as Trent dives of the top with a Doomsday Knee but Matt lands on his feet and Nick slides in and they break out into a Superkick Party! Nick hits a Springboard Plancha onto Cassidy and Trent on the floor!

More Bang for Your Buck on Chuck in the ring gets the pin!

Winners: The Young Bucks via pinfall (More Bang For Your Buck)

After the match, the Bucks accept Santana and Ortiz’s challenge from last week.

Jamie Hayter vs. Dr. Britt Baker

Hayter is making her debut in AEW here. The commentators point out that Hayter is a regular tag team partner of Bea Priestley – Baker’s rival – in Japan. Baker gets a massive hometown hero reaction as the Pittsburgh Steelers’ mascot escorts her to the ring.

Hayter attacks Baker at the bell but Baker turns it around on her and goes for a suplex only for Hayter to counter into a suplex in the corner. Hayter is really eating up the boos and heel heat as she knocks Baker off the apron.

Hayter tosses Baker head-first into the ring post and continues to taunt Baker and her hometown crowd. Hayter whips Baker into the guardrail but as Hayter continues to taunt the crowd she eats a Sling Blade.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

The match continues picture-in-picture during the break. Baker rolls Hayter up for a nearfall and then catches her with another rollup for another nearfall before hitting a Leaping Neckbreaker. Hayter fights back by slamming Baker to the mat by her hair and then slamming her head into the mat repeatedly.

Hayter kicks Baker in the back of the head repeatedly as she was hung up in the ropes and then locks her in a Camel Clutch. She pulls Baker’s lips back to show her teeth and taunts her more before actually giving her a ‘wet willy’ in an odd bit of heel work.

Hayter chokes Baker and then puts her in a chinlock as we come back from the “break.” Baker breaks the hold with elbows but eats a series of elbows from Hayter, as well. They slug each other until Baker gets the better of the series until Hayter jumps on Baker’s back and locks in a Sleeper.

Baker drops back onto her back to break the hold and then connects with a Flying Knee in the corner followed by a Sling Blade for a nearfall.

Britt sets up for a Swinging Neckbreaker but Hayter counters into a Michinoku Driver for a nearfall and then a Shining Wizard for another nearfall.

Hayter goes for a Powerbomb but Baker backdrops her and then runs right into an eye gauge from Hayter. Hayter climbs up top but Baker cuts her off and hits a Superplex! Baker goes for the Ripcord Forearm but Hayter counters into a Uranage Suplex and then a Running Lariat for another nearfall.

Hayter hits the ropes but eats a Superkick from Baker and then a Diamond Cutter followed by a Swinging Neckbreaker for a nearfall of her own. Baker hits another Superkick and then locks in the Lockjaw for the submission!

Winner: Baker via submission (Lockjaw)

Backstage Hayter is going to be interviewed but Brandi Rhodes attacks her out of nowhere and then stares at the interviewer, while refusing to explain why she attacked Hayter.

Main Event
“The Death Rider” Jon Moxley vs. “The Bastard” PAC

As Moxley makes his entrance PAC blasts him in the back of the head with a chair and then starts beating him all around ringside as referees beg him to stop, so the match can officially start.

PAC rolls into the ring and as referees check on Moxley he shoves them out of the way and climbs into the ring only to eat a big kick to start the match. PAC immediately climbs to the top for the Black Arrow but Moxley rolls to the floor. PAC then hits the Fossbury Flop over the top on Moxley on the floor!

Back in the ring, PAC gets a nearfall and then a Snap Leg Drop for another nearfall. Moxley suddenly explodes by running PAC into the corner and laying into him with kicks. Moxley almost collapses and then PAC kills him with a series of back kicks followed by a Sliding Dropkick for another nearfall.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

The match keeps going picture-in-picture during the break. Moxley again tries to escape on the apron but PAC slams into him causing Moxley to go flying into the guardrail. PAC rolls Moxley back in and gets another nearfall before putting him in a chinlock.

Moxley tries to fight PAC off with right hands and forearms only for PAC to nail him with a running elbow in the corner. Moxley fights back with chops only to get taken down with a leg kick and then a series of front kicks.

PAC hits a nasty roundhouse kick and then a Standing Shooting Star Press for a nearfall. Moxley rolls onto the apron again and this time PAC attempts to German Suplex him onto the apron, but Moxley hooks the top rope and connects with a series of elbows followed by the OG Dirty Deeds onto the apron!

Back in the ring, PAC and Moxley exchange strikes and Moxley caps it off with a clothesline and then a Running Forearm Smash. PAC comes back with a Pump Kick but then eats a Decapitation Lariat! Moxley hits the Release Vertical Suplex for a nearfall.

Moxley attempts the Regal Knee but PAC rolls to the floor only to eat a Tope Suicida from Moxley through the ropes! Moxley rolls PAC back in the ring but eats a knee and then a catches PAC in a Black Hole Slam for another nearfall!

Moxley hits the Regal Knee for a nearfall and then locks in a Texas Cloverleaf! PAC reaches the ropes as we get to less than four minutes left in the time limit. Moxley climbs up top but PAC dropkicks his legs out from under him causing Moxley to be crotched on the top turnbuckle.

PAC climbs up with Moxley and hits a Super Falcon Arrow! 1…2…NO Moxley kicks out! PAC climbs back up top and attempts the Black Arrow but Moxley gets back up and charges at him. PAC leaps over Moxley only to get rolled up for another nearfall. Moxley backdrops PAC over the top and then sets up for a dive but PAC moves out of the way.

PAC hits an insane 450-Splash off the apron and then rolls Moxley back in the ring and goes for Black Arrow! Moxley rolls out of the way with one minute remaining. Moxley desperately covers PAC but he still kicks out. Moxley hits Paradigm Shift out of nowhere! Moxley rolls PAC over, 1…2…NO PACk kicks out as Moxley desperately covers him again and time expires!

Winner: TIME LIMIT DRAW

Moxley gets pissed off after the match and attacks the referee, while saying “time limit my ass” and pacing around.
