Eddie Kingston makes his way to the ring and reminds everyone that he is getting his shot at the World Title tonight. He says he was never eliminated from the Casino Battle Royal and that’s why he’s getting the shot. He says that 18 years in the business is why he deserves it. He says that he and Moxley used to be cut from the same cloth but then Moxley sold his soul to the devil and went to the “land of sports entertainment.”
Kingston calls Moxley a “sports entertainer” and says he wants to look into his eyes and Moxley doesn’t make him wait long as he comes right out. They get into each other’s faces but security and referees run out and separate them.
Kenny Omega comes out to do guest commentary for the next match. Excalibur says that AEW offered the next match as Page & Omega against The Dark Order but Omega declined and has asked AEW to not rank he and Page in the tag team rankings. Omega says that he turned the match down because it wouldn’t affect his singles record and he is a singles wrestler now and the tag team part of him is dead now.

Earlier today Tony Schiavone went to interview The Young Bucks and Nick Jackson says that they’ve been out of line recently. He says they should have never put their hands on Marvez or “that jocky looking ref” and calls him a “poser.” He says they’ve lost title opportunities and more importantly relationships with friends they thought they would be friends with forever. Nick says they will do better.
Tony asks Nick about FTR but he refuses to answer anything about them. Tony again asks about FTR but Nick asks him if he has his phone and then he slams it against the wall and breaks it. Nick says he feels terrible about that and then gives him some money to get an upgrade and throws the money on the floor.
“The Exalted One” Brodie Lee (c) (7-1) w/The Dark Order vs. Orange Cassidy (8-4)
OC puts his sunglasses on Anna Jay but Brodie takes them and throws them back at OC. OC does his lazy kicks to Brodie but it does not amuse the Exalted One. He uppercuts the hell out of OC and then puts the boots to him. OC ducks underneath a clothesline and hits a dropkick sending Brodie to the floor. OC shoves Lee into the turnbuckles and then sidesteps Lee sending him to the floor. Cassidy hits a series of Elbow Suicidas onto Lee on the floor. OC hits the Orange Punch on a few of the Dark Order members and as he gets back in the ring Lee goes for a Black Hole Slam only for OC to counter into a Stunner. OC hits as Diving DDT but he can’t roll over to make the cover.
OC finally nips up to his feet and hits a pair of field goal kicks. OC then hits a Satellite DDT followed by the Kryptonite Krunsh for a nearfall. OC goes for the Orange Punch but Silver comes in and eats it instead. Lee then hits a big Powerbomb followed by the Spinning Lariat for the pin.
Winner & STILL TNT Champ: Lee via pinfall (Spinning Lariat)
The lights go out as Lee celebrates and Cody Rhodes’ music hits. Cody appears out of a bunch of smoke as a platform raises under the stage. Cody destroys the other Dark Order members and Lee retreats. Cody now has black hair and is wearing all black.
Brodie Lee freaks out backstage and says that Cody has been gone for five weeks while Lee has been doing the work that needs to be done. Brodie asks what kind of man asks another man to do his own work and asks what if he saw what he did to Dustin and what Anna Jay did to Brandi? Lee asks Cody what kid of man allows his wife to post Instagram “Thirst traps” while calling Brodie “daddy.” He says that Cody is no man and sooner or rather he will cut Cody down again. He grabs a dog collar and says he’s going to wrap it around Cody’s neck and he gives Cody one week to answer him asking if he is a man or coward.
Matt Hardy and Private Party make their way to the ring and Matt addresses the attack on him last week. Hardy says he’s been trying to figure out who would have the motivation to attack him in such a cowardly fashion and someone screams, “Jeff.” Matt says he had a heated argument with both MJF and Brodie Lee recently and says everyone knows his long storied history with The Inner Circle.
Matt says whoever attacked him was wearing a mask or a face covering and he knows someone hit him with a pipe or a bat. He mentions Hager and Jericho walking around with a bat after he was attacked. Matt says Jericho is his prime suspect and he says Private Party tore the house down last week and were “this close” to beating Jericho and Hager. Matt says the only reason they won is because they used the same bat to win.
Matt botches the “more things change, the more they stay the same” line and then says Jericho will always just be known as an asshole.
Jericho leads the Inner Circle – minus Sammy – onto the stage and sarcastically wishes Hardy a Happy Birthday. Jericho says that Inner Circle are down a man because of what Matt did to Sammy. Jericho says no one knows he can come back but then says he lied and Sammy walks through the tunnel and hugs Jericho.
Jericho says he is a son of a bitch but if he was going to take Matt out with a bat he would do it face to face so that Matt could see the happiness in his face as he did it. Matt says he didn’t do it last week but he will hit him with the bat tonight if he would like. Matt says he will fight any of them at any time but Marq Quen cuts him off.
Quen tells him to take his time and get cleared because they need him. Quen says that he laid Jericho out last week and Kassidy says he appreciates Matt and Quen having his back last week but he says he has it tonight. Kassidy challenges Jericho to face him tonight and Kassidy says he knows Jericho is a legend but what if a 23-year old kid from Brooklyn beat Jericho on Dynamite. He says next week he is going to make Jericho his “Le Champion bitch.”
Schiavone interviews FTR and Tully Blanchard in the ring. Tully says that every week there are thousands of new fans that get a chance to see the greatest tag team in the world for the first time. Tully says that he has had the rules changed to make tag team title matches on TV to 20-minute time limits and they are going to pick their opponents. Next week they are going to defend the titles against SCU. Tully says that if the team doesn’t beat FTR then FTR gets the win.
Dax starts to talk about who the next challengers would be after they beat SCU and calls Best Friends “backyard wrestlers,” which brings them out. Trent challenges them to face to put the titles on the line right now. FTR agrees to it but then they stop and say that this match wouldn’t be fair because Best Friends are beat up. So, they should rest up and maybe in a few weeks they will give them a shot.
Ivelisse & Diamante (4-0) vs. Thunder Rosa (2-1) & Hikaru Shida (17-1)

Rosa cuts her off and pulls her into a DVD. Shida then hits the Falcon Arrow for a nearfall. Ivelisse broke up that pin attempt. Rosa tosses Ivelisse to the floor and Shida kills Diamante with the Tamashii no Three Count (Flying Knee) for the pin.
Winners: Shida & Rosa via pinfall (Tamashii no Three Count)
Jericho accepts Kassidy’s challenge for next week. MJF walks up and says he can’t believe what that “little twerp” said to him earlier. They both blow smoke up each other’s asses, like they did a few weeks ago, until they both ask the other why they called the other a “loser.” MJF says he was calling his limo driver a loser and Jericho says he was calling Schiavone a loser. They laugh at Schiavone and make fun of him and then say the other is alright.
AEW World Heavyweight Championship

Moxley hits a series of elbows on Kingston but it seemed like he hurt his elbow on one of them and Kingston catches him with a Powerbomb for a nearfall.
Kingston attempts a Spinning Backfist but Moxley ducks and hits a series of elbows. They exchange more chops and slaps that are just absolutely brutal. Kingston misses a Mafia Kick and Moxley hits him with a German Suplex. Kingston comes back with a pair of Backdrop Drivers for a nearfall.
More chops and slaps from both men and Kingston goes for the backfist again but Moxley blocks it and catches Kingston in a Rear Naked Choke. As Kingston blocks it, Moxley locks in the Bulldog Choke and Kingston passes out.
Winner & STILL World Champ: Moxley via KO (Bulldog Choke)
The Lucha Brothers hit the ring and destroy Moxley with a pair of Superkicks. Will Hobbs runs out to make the save but the numbers game gets the better of him.
