Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes took to Twitter earlier (view below) to respond to a fan asking his thoughts (Cody) on WWE NXT ending AEW’s seven week winning streak in the so-called “Wednesday Night War.”
In addition, AEW World Champion Chris Jericho also commented on Twitter (view below) on NXT’s win over Dynamite this week. He also responded to a comment from a fan regarding AEW’s loss this week to WWE NXT, which can also be seen below.
As per our report from earlier this week, AEW Dynamite, the eighth episode to go head-to-head against WWE NXT, drew an average of 893,000 viewers on Wednesday night, while WWE NXT drew an average of 916,000 viewers.
WWE NXT defeated AEW Dynamite for the first time in the head-to-head battle only by 23,000 viewers.
Take it on the chin, learn from it, get up off the mat and get to work.
