AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT Ratings: NXT wins in viewership, Dynamite wins demos

AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT ratings for November 21, 2019 are now in.

AEW Dynamite, the eighth episode to go head-to-head against WWE NXT, drew an average of 893,000 viewers on Wednesday night according to a report by Showbuzzdaily.com.

This is down from last week’s show that drew an average of 957,000 viewers on TNT. Dynamite came in at No. 8 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, down from No. 5 where they placed last week.

This week’s episode of NXT drew an average of 916,000 viewers on Wednesday night.

This is up from last week’s show that averaged 750,000 viewers. NXT came in at No. 14 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, up from No. 22 where they placed last week.

In overall viewership, WWE NXT defeated AEW Dynamite for the first time in the head-to-head battle of the so-called “Wednesday Night War” by 23,000 viewers.

Demographic Ratings for AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT

NXT, headlined by a Raw and SmackDown invasion, averaged a 0.30 rating among adults 18-49. This is up from last week’s 0.25 rating.

AEW Dynamite, headlined by Jon Moxley vs. Darby Allin, averaged a 0.39 rating among adults 18-49. This is down from last week’s 0.43 rating.
