Roderick Strong posted a picture on social media, posing with AEW President Tony Khan with both men wearing neck braces.
Strong, who won the AEW International Championship from Orange Cassidy at AEW Revolution, was previously recovering from injury following a match against Samoa Joe, leading to promos and social media posts talking about being “Neck Strong.”
Khan has been seen wearing a neck brace since the Young Bucks, Kazuchika Okada, and Jack Perry attacked him on the 4/24 edition of Dynamite, even in the midst of decision making during the NFL Draft.
It was announced on commentary during the 4/27 edition of Collision that Khan would be running the company remotely due to the injuries sustained from the attack.
