AEW Dynamite will air live tonight from Landers Center in Southaven, Missouri.
Tonight’s show, being dubbed “The Anniversary Edition,” has five matches advertised. One of the main event matches will see Riho defending the AEW Women’s World Championship against Kris Statlander. Statlander was initially supposed to receive this title opportunity on last week’s episode of Dynamite, but prior commitments kept her from performing on the show. Riho instead defended the title in a Fatal 4-Way against Britt Baker, Nyla Rose, and Hiraku Shida.
Also scheduled for the show are two segments. The first will be Jon Moxley making his decision about whether he will take AEW World Champion Chris Jericho’s offer to join The Inner Circle. The second segment will have Cody giving his answer about accepting MJF’s stipulations for a match. If Cody accepts, he would have to not lay his hands on MJF until AEW Revolution, receive 10 lashings from Max on television, and face Wardlow in a Cage Match.
The company will also be honoring legends from the Memphis wrestling territory. Angelo Poffo, Randy Savage, Lance Russell, “Hot Stuff” Eddie and Tommy Gilbert, Brian Christopher, Austin Idol, Dave Brown, the Rock ‘N’ Roll Express, and “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant will be honored.
