Kenny Omega wins the AEW World Championship, will appear this Tuesday on Impact Wrestling

Kenny Omega wins AEW Title

A new AEW World Champion was crowned on tonight’s “Winter is Coming” AEW Dynamite special and, in the process, a relationship between All Elite Wrestling and Impact Wrestling was revealed.

Kenny Omega defeated Jon Moxley to win the AEW World Championship with the help of Impact Wrestling Vice President Don Callis, who was serving as a guest commentator for the main event.

Moxley gave Omega a Paradigm Shift on the floor. Callis ran over and tried to get Moxley to stop, so Moxley shoved him down. Omega would then viciously attack Moxley and pin him with a One Winged Angel to win the title. Afterward, Omega ran off with Callis, who stated that they will explain everything this Tuesday on Impact Wrestling on AXS TV.

The following is from Josh Boutwell’s live AEW Dynamite recap:

Omega pulls his knee pad down and nails Moxley with three straight V-Triggers! Omega hits a fourth one into the turnbuckles. Omega lifts Moxley up and drops him with the One Winged Angel! 1…2…3! NEW CHAMP!

Winner & NEW World Champ: Omega via pinfall (One Winged Angel)

Callis and Omega briefly celebrate but then take off to the back and go to a car. Alex Marvez runs up to them and ask them what the hell just happened. Callis says they will explain everything next… Tuesday… on Impact Wrestling on AXS TV!

AEW World Champion Kenny Omega will appear on Impact Wrestling this Tuesday. We will have a live recap of that show starting at 8 p.m. Eastern/7 Central.
