According to reports by PWInsider and F4WOnline on Monday, AEW has hired Michael Mansury, who was the former Vice President of Global TV Production of WWE, as the promotion’s new Senior Vice President and Co-Executive Producer.
The reports noted hat Mansury will begin his new job at this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite. However, as of this writing there are no further details on what exactly Mansury’s specific job responsibilities will be.
Prior to Mansury joining AEW, he was the Senior Vice President and Executive Producer of Global Production for Asian-based MMA promotion ONE. He also served as an executive producer for the Pat McAfee Show.
PWInsider also stated that Mansury was with WWE for 11 years and left the company on his own in May 2020. In WWE he was also the Director for many of the WWE pay-per-view and TV shows during his time in the company.
Both reports said that Mansury was seen by some within WWE as an eventual successor to Kevin Dunn and was expected to part of the new Triple H regime.
