Following his appearance in GCW’s Tournament of Survival, New Japan star El Desperado called out Jon Moxley in a promo shared by New Japan on social media:
In the promo, Desperado talked about his experience at the tournament, saying it reminded him of what he went through facing Moxley in a no disqualification match at NJPW Music City Mayhem last year, before challenging the former AEW World Champion to a rematch down the line.
While unclear when the match would take place, Desperado made mention of the STRONG brand, which will hold its first shows in Japan with a pair of events on July 4-5.
