Despite suffering a black eye, Jim Ross says he’ll still be at tonight’s AEW Collision debut

Despite suffering a black eye from a bad fall on Saturday morning, Jim Ross is still headed to the United Center in Chicago for tonight’s premiere episode of AEW Collision.

The 71-year-old Ross posted to Twitter a picture of himself with the black eye, noting he is still going to Chicago to be part of tonight’s premiere episode of AEW Collision.

AEW previously had announced that Ross will provide “expert analysis” as part of Collision’s announce team that also consists of Kevin Kelly and Nigel McGuinness. It was also said Ross is only expected to be on commentary for tonight’s main event, featuring CM Punk and AEW Tag Team Champions FTR vs. ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe and the Bullet Club’s Jay White and Juice Robinson.

The premiere episode airs live tonight on TNT, beginning at 8:00 pm ET.
