STARDOM, CMLL stars reportedly taking part in AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door

Following a post from Tony Khan on 3/13 with STARDOM President Taro Okada, it has been reported that the Japanese women’s promotion will be a part of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door this year.

Discussing the matter on Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer states:

There will be Stardom and CMLL wrestlers on the Forbidden Door show when they do that show in June.

So (Taro Okada) came in and that kind of explains, again, when Tony Khan tweeted those tweets about Rossy Ogawa. It was definite loyalty to Stardom and Rossy Ogawa was quitting Stardom, so that’s what is going on there.

Meltzer also noted the possibility of STARDOM wrestlers appearing at the April 5 ROH Supercard of Honor, particularly AZM and Mina Shirakawa.

AEW recently entered into a partnership with CMLL, leading to appearances and matches from stars of the Mexican-based promotion in the past few months.
