Republic of Lucha has announced an event called Hit The Lights, emanating from The Temple in Los Angeles, California.
The event marks a return to wrestling at the former venue of Lucha Underground, which aired from 2014 to 2018.
AEW stars Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix, the minds behind Republic of Lucha and made notable in the States because of Lucha Underground, are set to star in the show and to “hand curate” the rest of the lineup.
Fenix was sidelined with injury shortly after losing the AEW International Championship to Orange Cassidy last October on Dynamite.
Tickets for Hit The Lights go on sale on 3/22, and are expected to sell out quickly.
