Hosting the Nikki & Brie Show solo this week due to her sister Brie traveling home from London with her family, Nikki Garcia gave her thoughts on AEW All In this past weekend.
The WWE Hall of Famer formerly known as Nikki Bella mentioned that the AEW pay-per-view was her first time she allowed her four-year-old son watch wrestling, stating:
The girls got on the screen so I was like, ‘Teo, come watch what Mommy used to do,’” she said. “And it was really cute because it was Toni Storm vs. Mariah May and he was just in awe from their entrances and he was watching them wrestle. I found myself cheering on Mariah May and Teo wanted Toni Storm so we were just having this fun little moment.
Garcia expressed her appreciation for the show overall, including the bout for the AEW Women’s World Championship:
I was just in awe of so many of the wrestlers and the performances at All In. Toni Storm and Mariah May, there is a women’s match to watch if you’re not like a wrestling fan but maybe you’re like ‘I want to watch something.’ Their match from AEW All In was so incredible. The storytelling, the moves, I was just in awe of those women.
The former WWE Divas Champion has expressed in the past that she would consider going to AEW for a return to pro wrestling, but is focused on taking care of her young son.
