AEW does attack angle at “Queen of the Ring” Red Carpet premiere

During Thursday night’s Red Carpet premiere of “Queen of the Ring” at the AMC Grove 14 in Los Angeles, California, AEW did an angle to further hype up the Women’s World Title Match at this Sunday’s Revolution pay-per-view.

As “Timeless” Toni Storm was being interviewed about her role in the new film, Mariah May blindsided her. AEW Official Christopher Daniels then stepped in, stopping May from further attacking Storm. May then yelled at Storm saying, “You are nothing without me! I made you a star!”

After Storm got to her feet she said, “She’s ruined my moment. She’s ruined my red carpet moment. Bloody hell, look at me. look at the state of me. Where the hell is she? Where is that b—-?”

In the film, Storm plays the role of wrestler Clara Mortensen. The movie is based on the true story of Mildred Burke and opens in theaters nationwide March 7.

AEW is promoting Sunday’s match between Storm and May as “The Hollywood Ending.” This will be the third match-up between the two women.

Sunday’s AEW Revolution will emanate from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA with a start time of 8:00 pm ET/5:00 pm PT.
