He then added that it’s potentially viable…a very interesting thought.” He further said that he would have to wait and see what happens in the world landscape between now and then.

Khan said that regarding the new MyAEW platform, they are focused on the international market for it, but do have a domestic component. Khan also said that there are plans for additional promotions to be included with the service.

The subject of Madison Square Garden was brought up again. Tony Khan retold the story of the first Dynamite having been planned for MSG, with the building’s management calling him to express interest, only to get another phone call saying they were no longer interested. He went on to say that it was similar to Lucy from the ‘Peanuts’ comic strip pulling the football away from Charlie Brown.

Someone asked Khan about about the New York State Athletic Commission not allowing blood or brawling in the crowd. Khan said they hit a home run with the show, and that he was glad to keep the state of New York happy.

Khan was asked about how he is looking to keep things different between AEW and ROH. He said the ROH show focuses more on younger talent, particularly women’s wrestling and pure wrestling rules. Khan further stated that he wantscto make sure veteran ROH stars had a presence on the television show.

On Darby Allin’s World Title run coming to and end. Khan said he was proud of Darby run and that he has just about done everything he has set out to do and had one of the greatest World Title reigns in the company.

Khan again praised Paramount and David Ellison, saying the deal is done. He pushed his relationship with Ellison, again mentioning that he had worked with Skydance over NFL collaborations. Khan also said he didn’t like Netflix’s idea of separating TBS and TNT from HBO Max.

Khan said he had several matches planned for this Wednesday’s Dynamite but cannot put the show together until wrestlers get medically cleared.

He sent his best wishes to Rebel and is considering doing a Fight for the Fallen event to benefit ALS research, and went to urge fans to support that research.

When asked about using CMLL’s micro wrestlers, he said that he has not given much thought much about it, but will put it under consideration.

QT Marshall slipped from the top rope to the floor during the ending of the ten man tag on the Buy In. He appeared to have slipped after water that was tossed at heels by The Rizzler and Big Justice caused him to lose his footing.  Khan noted that Marshall was ok.
