Former AEW champions donate livestream proceeds to Rebel’s ALS fundraiser

During a recent livestream on their YouTube channel, the Young Bucks took on fan feedback to redirect donations they received to a fundraiser run by Rebel (Tanea Brooks), who joined the organization I Am ALS as an ambassador in the midst of her battle with the neurodegenerative disease.

Near the end of the 47-minute broadcast, they said they had just reached the $3,000 mark, per Matt Jackson:

This is really cool. This turned into a really positive thing, a good cause. If you have donated, thank you so much. Thank you so much. We just hit $3k with that.

Thank you for everything, y’all. We love you all. And, again, 100 percent of this is going to you, Rebel. We love you, we’re thinking about you, and we’re praying for you.

AEW launched the “Rebel Heart” fundraiser, with proceeds from the campaign’s t-shirts and bracelets set to be donated to I Am ALS and the Team Gleason ALS charity.

During the post-show press conference following Double Or Nothing, Tony Khan mentioned the possibility of AEW’s next Fight for the Fallen event be a charity show in support of ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) research and those affected by it.
