Sting wrestled on TNT Wednesday night for the first time in 20 years. Sting and Darby Allin defeated 2.0 (Matt Lee and Jeff Parker) in a Tornado Tag Team Match on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.
Towards the end of the match, 2.0 double power-bombed Sting through a table inside the ring. However, he got right back up, and hit a double scorpion death-drop, and then locked both Parker and Lee into a scorpion death-lock for the tap and the victory.
Sting’s previous match on TNT was on the final episode of WCW Nitro on March 26, 2001 where he defeated Ric Flair.
