Ring of Honor video tape library is reportedly for sale and available to the highest bidder

According to a new report from Sports Illustrated, the Ring of Honor tape library is available and will go to the highest bidder. It was noted that ROH has been privately trying to move the library (the Sinclair-owned archive from 2012 on) for more than a year.

The library includes the All In pay-per-view from September 2018, which was the precursor to All Elite Wrestling. AEW owns the trademark, However, ROH that owns the footage.

Sports Illustrated noted in their report that Sinclair is asking for much more than what the current market dictates. It is believed that WWE may not have interest in purchasing the library since so many former WWE talent have left the company.

ROH announced this past Wednesday that the company is going on hiatus after December 31, until the Spring of 2022. Talent who have contracts that expire at the end of this year are free to sign anywhere. However, talent who have contracts that expire after January 1, 2022 are free to sign anywhere in what is believed to be in March or April of next year.
