WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch took to Twitter late Monday night to issue an update on missing Raw due to an apparent.
On Monday, before Raw Lynch posted a photo of herself in the hospital on her Instagram stating that Bianca Belair fractured her voice box during the main event match of Sunday’s WWE Live Event in Allentown, PA. Several sources then later reported Lynch was actually suffering from a legitimate injury, and that she is expected to be back in action within two weeks. As of this report, there are no other details available.
In her update, Lynch said she was able to make it to Raw backstage just before the show ended. She said no fracture of the voice box and no amount of spitting up blood will keep her from retaining her title at WrestleMania 38.
“No fracture, no spitting blood, no whipping is going to keep me from keeping a title no one has beat me for in 3 years. You’ve only made me more dangerous @BiancaBelairWWE.”
Twitter user Fazcoasters posted a clip from Sunday’s WWE Live Event in Allentown. The post-match angle shows Belair punching Lynch in the throat, and then hitting her with the KOD. Lynch then immediately clutched her throat after the hit to the throat, and then left to be checked out by medical staff.
