Britt Baker issues her first public comments since losing the AEW Women’s Title

Britt Baker took to Twitter on Thursday, and issued her first public comments since losing the AEW Women’s Women’s Championship to Thunder Rosa in the main event Steel Cage Match on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite: St. Patrick’s Day Slam themed show.

Britt said the following on her Twitter post:

While others relax & recover on their day off, I’m just leaving the dental office for the day – bruised and cut up, on 2 hours of sleep after traveling halfway across the country. I might have lost, but I gave you all the best damn women’s championship reign that none of you undeserving idiots will appreciate until I’m champion again. This will always be my division. To all those I paved the way wave for, you’re welcome. -DMD

Jerome’s thoughts: Britt and Thunder Rosa tore the house down with this match. Both Britt and Rosa put on an excellent match. This match, for me is easily match of the year for me so far. Putting the title on Thunder Rosa in her own hometown was the right move. Britt held the title for ten months. I don’t know what is next for Britt as far as her character. I suspect she will stay a heel (she is really good at it), and feud with someone else other than Rosa. Will she win the title back. I would say yes – down the road, but not against Rosa.

Last September, Britt signed a contract extension with AEW.
