Former WWE Champion reportedly scheduled to return to Raw this Monday

According to PWInsider, Former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley is is expected to return to this Monday’s WWE Raw live from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, PA.

Lashley has been out of action since the Royal Rumble after suffering a shoulder injury in his match where he defeated Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship.  WWE then did an angle at the Elimination Chamber event in Saudi Arabia last month where Lashley was removed from the WWE Championship Match, after his pod door broke and then fell onto him after a Powerbomb from Seth Rollins to Austin Theory. Lashley had to be helped to the back by WWE Officials. He did not return to the match.

After Lashley was removed from the match, WWE announced on Twitter that he (Lashley) entered concussion protocol, and was traveling back to the United States under medical supervision, and then would undergo additional testing.

Several reports, from various media outlets indicated Lashley’s injury was part of a storyline.

It was then reported that former WWE writer Kazeem Famuyide, had stated on The Ringer Wrestling Show, that Lashley is going undergo shoulder surgery for a legitimate injury, and would be out of action for at least four months.
