According to a new report by PWInsider, WWE Superstar Rick Boogs underwent successful surgery to earlier this week in Birmingham, AL to repair his quad tear he sustained in the opening tag team match at WrestleMania 38 Night One, when his knee buckled during a spot with The Usos.
The report also noted that the plan is for Boogs leave Birmingham this weekend to return home and begin the process of healing and rehabilitation from the injury.
As of this report, there is no word on how long Boogs will be out of action. However, based on the severity of this type of injury, he could be out up to 12 months.
