According to a report by The New York Post, WWE SmackDown commentator Pat McAfee is reportedly in talks with Amazon for a role on Thursday Night Football.
The report notes that McAfee and Amazon have been in discussions about the former NFL punter contributing to Thursday Night Football coverage.” Starting this season, Amazon will be the exclusive home of Thursday Night Football.
It was also noted in the report that the role McAfee is in talks for with Amazon has not been disclosed. Furthermore, The New York Post also noted there has also been some discussion about the possibility of McAfee’s talk show (The Pat McAfee Show) streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
The New York Post added further that a source told them nothing has yet been finalized.
Al Michaels and ESPN College Football Analyst and Color Commentator Kirk Herbstreit will be calling the games for Thursday Night Football on Amazon.
