During Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Liv Morgan addressed the controversial finish at lat month’s SummerSlam with her tapping out to the armbar. The referee only saw Rousey’s shoulders down, and counted the 1, 2, 3 allowing Morgan to get the pin. After the match, Rousey snapped and attacked the referee, causing her to get fined and suspended.
As Morgan was cutting her promo on SmackDown, fans began chanting “you tapped out.” She then said “I appreciate you calling me out on my s—,” which was censored. Morgan then went on to say that she’s been feeling a lot of different emotions since Summerslam and explained that the SmackDown Women’s Title means everything to her. Morgan then further stated she thought that she had tapped out after the three count, as some of the fans continued to boo her.
