Ronda Rousey is once again a WWE women’s champion.
In what was the second match of the night at Saturday’s Extreme Rules, Rousey regained the SmackDown Women’s Title by defeating Liv Morgan in an Extreme Rules Match.
Morgan passed out in a submission to lose the Championship.
Below is an excerpt from Mike Tedesco’s Extreme Rules recap of how it all went down:
Morgan hits Rousey with a chair and wedges it in the corner. They botch the spot when the chair falls out of the ring. Morgan goes to catapult her into the corner without the chair there, but that’s botched. They do it again, and Rousey hits the ring post. Morgan covers for a two-count. Morgan grabs the chair from ringside and beats Rousey down with it in the ring. Morgan hits a Codebreaker with the chair for a near fall. Morgan takes a while to set the table up in the ring and puts Rousey on top of it. Morgan heads to the top rope and crushes Rousey with a senton splash through the table. Morgan covers, but Rousey kicks out. Rousey immediately grabs the arm for an armbar, but Morgan fights it. Morgan lifts her up and slams her onto the wreckage of the table for a near fall. They’re really struggling with this submission attempt. Rousey is choking Morgan out. Morgan’s false eyelash is resting on her cheek. Morgan is smiling as she fades. The referee calls for the bell.
