According to Fightful Select, former NXT and AEW star Bobby Fish has been backstage at recent NXT live events. The report notes Fish was brought in as a talent coach. It is also being said he is still on very good terms with WWE.
Following his release from AEW, at the end of August, Fish made a surprise appearance at IMPACT’s Victory Road PPV on September 23. He was part of the “Call Your Shot” Gauntlet match at IMPACT’s Bound for Glory PPV back on October 7, as has made other appearances for the promotion on their weekly television show on AXS-TV since then.
Fish was released by WWE back on August 5, 2021.
