WWE Backstage news on Raw 30 and King/Queen of the Ring

WWE is reportedly working on putting together a special 30th year anniversary episode of Raw.

The Manhattan Center in New York City was the home of Monday Night Raw when the show debuted on January 11, 1993.

Raw’s 25th anniversary episode took place on January 18, 2018 and was held at both the Barclays Center and Manhattan Center.

WWE is said to be considering bringing back King and Queen of the Ring. The event would stream live on Peacock in the United States and the WWE Network everywhere else.

Vince McMahon had dropped the KOTR PPV in 2002 due to a very low buyrate. The event then returned in 2015 return in April 2015 as a WWE Network special.

Last year WWE held King of the Ring and Queen’s Crown tournament finals at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, with the rest of the tournament taking place during episodes of Raw and SmackDown. Zelina Vega became the first Queen’s Crown winner and Xavier Woods defeated Finn Balor to become King.
