Thunder Rosa relinquishes the AEW World Women’s Championship

Jamie Hayter is officially the AEW Women’s World Champion. Renee Paquette announced that Thunder Rosa and AEW had come to an agreement for Rosa to relinquish the title.

Hayter won the championship from Storm at last Saturday’s Full Gear PPV in Newark, NJ.

Rosa announced shortly before the All Out PPV that she would not be able to defend the title against Toni Storm due to a back injury. Storm won the interim Title at All Out, which was a four-way for the interim title between Storm, Hayter, Britt Baker, and Hikaru Shida.

There is no word on how long Rosa will be out of action.
