As first reported by Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam, and then Fightful, Colby Corino has signed with WWE.
Corino confirmed back on January 2 he was a free agent after finishing up with the National Wrestling Alliance. We reported last month that Corino could be headed to WWE, and that the company had a lot of interest in him.
Both Bodyslam and Fightful note Corino is expected to report to NXT and could start as in that brand early next month. Colby is the son of Steve Corino, who works as a trainer and producer for NXT.
As of this writing, WWE has not confirmed Corino signing with the company.
