WWE Superstar Kofi Kingston took to Twitter to confirm his leg injury. Kingston posted a picture of himself sitting by a pool showing his right foot and ankle being all banged up.
Kingston was involved in a brawl during last Friday night’s WWE SmackDown that included Karrion Kross, LA Knight, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus over getting who would get a shot at Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship. Kingston may have been injured when Drew McIntyre dove to the outside and landed on top of Kingston.
Kingston, Kross, LA Knight, McIntryre and Sheamus are all scheduled for a five-way match on next week’s SmackDown, with the winner doing on to challenge Gunther for the IC Title at WrestleMania 39.
