Last Friday night’s WWE SmackDown reportedly highest grossing event for Knoxville market

According to a new report from Fightful Select, last Friday’s WWE SmackDown held at the Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, TN was the reportedly the highest-grossing event in WWE history for that market.

Fightful Select also noted that WWE’s live event revenue is up by 41 percent as compared to last year, with the company earning $32.6 million for the first quarter 2023 alone.

According to WrestleTix last Friday, just hours prior to the show, the total number of tickets distributed was 9,538 with a set-up capacity of 10,351.

Last Friday’s show featured two Triple Threat World Title Tournament Matches, the Semi-Final Match in the main event and an in-ring segment with The Bloodline.
