WWE reportedly had plans for Bray Wyatt faction following WrestleMania 39

Rumors from as far back as 2019 of a new faction for Bray Wyatt have been confirmed, ever so slightly, by a new report from Fightful Select.

The report noted that prior to their releases in 2020, Eric Young and Mike Bennett had been pitched by Paul Heyman to be involved in the faction, but the pitches were only made to Benett…who, as the report further states, was approached to portray Sister Abigail, though said pitches did not get very far.

A more recent pitch involved Eric Young upon his re-signing with WWE last November, which would have seen him grouped in with Wyatt and Uncle Howdy (as notably portrayed by Bo Dallas), as well as the possibility of Alexa Bliss joining the faction down the line.

According to the report, plans were set in January and would have kicked off after WrestleMania 39; however, Bray was sidelined with an undisclosed illness, neither Wyatt nor Bo Dallas have returned to television, Bliss is currently pregnant and not competing, and Eric Young asked for his release from WWE once more in April, leading to his return to IMPACT this past weekend at Slammiversary.
